They are all really annoying me now, Adam and Karen haven't done anything wrong! They are all behaving like spoilt brats

Do you know what. A less than perfect episode but overall I still love it and I'm sorry it's ended .It would have rung far truer if Jenny and Pete had been stunned but quiet and needed time to get their heads around it rather than Jens outburst.But i guess going thorough chemo etc you have had your world turned upsude down.Then finding our your best mates are more than mates.Are they making another series?It would be a shame to end the whole thing with a weaker episode.

Oh yes, surely they wouldn't leave it there without another series. We don't even know what's going to happen with Jen yet.

Agreed that tonight's episode wasn't as good as previous weeks, but I still enjoyed it. Definite hope they do another series.

The reaction from Jenny and Pete was seriously over the top and spoiled the final episode. It was pretty obvious it was going to end with everyone giving them their blessing 'because life is too short.' There was absolutely no need for Jenny and Pete to react like that at all in the first place!

Last week's episode was excellent. Tonight's, not so much.

Agree that tonight’s ep was a shame as overall this has been a great series. Why wouldn’t you be pleased, if maybe a bit shocked, that your best friends had fallen for each other. The Charlie thing was a bit rushed and could have been as sympathetic and moving as other scenes have been. The choir had lost impact second time around. Those shelves in Adams hallway certainly Jarred with the rest of the decor but Karen’s wardrobe is fabulous.

Another one pissed off with how Pete and Jenny reacted ... I’m going to sound an absolutely awful person for saying this but Jenny’s ‘I’ve got cancer’ actually annoyed me . Just because she is poorly - and I understand to an extent how dreadful cancer is having nursed terminally ill adults with brain cancer - does not give her the right to have the whole world revolve and tiptoe around her , iyswim .

Pete also came across as surprisingly aggressive which seemed so out of character for him .

Didn’t fit well with the other series’ at all - they have all done things in the past (Pete/ Jenny/ David - all three have had affairs, divorces etc) and neither Adam nor Karen really passed judgement on them at all .

Hope to see a series 9 in which Adam and Karen are very happy together ...

Think they really needed a couple more episodes though as a bit too rushed . Second programme that’s disappointed me in 24 hours (call the midwife) so maybe it’s me ...

I think Jenny reacted like that because she was worried it would be all weird with the group, and this is the very time she needs everyone to rally round and to be able to lean on them. Also she's trying to cope with her diagnosis - the worst news she'll ever have - and two of her mates are more interested in shagging each other (in her eyes). I laughed when she was interviewed as Nina, getting all het up.

Wow...I though Jenny was an absolute bitch tbh, although Margot your interpretation of that makes total sense.

Can understand them all being shocked a taking a bit of time to get their heads around it, but otherwise was pretty daft. David has got a bit of cheek being so shirty about given the number of relationships he's had since Karen (and didn't he have an affair when they were married?)

I don't mind Karen and Adam...wasn't sure at first but I imagine that kind of thing is not that unusual...it's not as if the dating pool in one's 40s/50s is that great!

Jenny was driving me mad, such an over reaction.

I think Adam and Karen go very well together.

Does David remember why his marriage to Karen broke up! He had an affair! And 15 years later he is acting like the cuckold!

We can sound awful together then, it was an odd thing for the script writers to put in I think.

Karen and Adam seem like they'd be good together, I couldn't care less what David thinks because I think he's beyond irritating. He's heading for a relationship with that cafe owner in the next series I expect. Good luck to her, maybe she should get a wet fish out of the fridge to slap him with.

I didn't think Jenny was being a bitch. Her emotions are on red alert because of what she's going through so I can understand her reaction.

The Jeremy Kyle fantasy sequence was overkill and unnecessary.
