A quiet corner of MN for serious addicts of Kdrama, or the Kdrama-curious. Most of our viewing is drawn from Netflix and Viki, but the more seriously addicted have other sources, including dramabus. Goblin ep 1 was perfect entry-level kdrama. It had everything: high production values/great cinematography, beautiful men, great tailoring, supernatural stuff, longing gazes, sad stuff, orphan pathos, unanswered questions, a touch of humour/the absurd, good ML-FL chemistry. Great recommendation, ladies. 👌

I forgot the high budget historical bit at the beginning. SIL said: “I’ve never seen anything like this before and it shouldn’t work, but it does.”

She’s already talking about reinstating her Netflix account when she gets home. I had to break it to her Goblin is on Viki. 😂

I've just sobbed my way through the last two eps of "My Love From The Stars".... It was soooo heartbreaking!.... It was magnificent and loved it!... Why do I watch one and it becomes my favourite!
I loved the story and just the realisation of what must happen just made me bawl!... It was lovely!... I would have liked a little more epilogue... And netflix has that a annoying habit of not playing end credits and it just finishes!...

Goblin - I rather like Gong Yoo in his long haired General mode. If I remember rightly there is some amazing knitwear in this series. Well done for ensnaring your Sil!

Uh oh. Discovered the Viki Rakuten app earlier on my phone. Just kdramaed my way through the family choice of 9 lessons from Kings on the sly. Naughty Boaty.

On ep 7 of When time Stopped and while have warmed to ML do not like FL very much at all. Not sure where the story’s going, there is no dramatic push forward somehow.

Skipped to the end and am now shamelessly abandoning When Time Stopped to watch new eps of My Strange Hero

Just discovered there's a 2 min epilogue that was completely missed on netflix!! 😯... Bastards! They clipped the credits... And there is a whole epilogue bit which is much more satisfying! Caught up with it on YouTube!!...
Still reeling from the loveliness of the story!... The absolute agony of not seeing the one you love was just heartbreaking! Thus me blubbing away in the early hours! It was good storytelling with gorgeous acting!... The crying!! 😭😭😭😭😭

Oh dear, Goblin is horribly addictive and late night is the only proper quiet time at the mo. 😩 There are 19 episodes and they are all ~1hr 20 min long. Help!

The advantage of having student children in the house is that I can get my viewing done in the morning as they aren't up until late

Bea that is one of the reasons I prefer Viki, they mess around less with the original material. If they only had a download function on the phone it would beat Netflix hands down.

I can recommend My Strange Hero so far (dishy man goes back to school to get revenge on ex girlfriend who caused him to be expelled), just wish the series was complete so I could binge it all! Currently waiting for the last ep to be subbed
