A quiet corner of MN for serious addicts of Kdrama, or the Kdrama-curious. Most of our viewing is drawn from Netflix and Viki, but the more seriously addicted have other sources, including dramabus. In my current one ML is raising funding to build a “healing village” for dementia patients - its like a gated community with small units and carers. He was just explaining that they’ll build bus stations around the site (I think he meant bus stops) and someone asked why if the site is car free. He says it’s been trialled in Germany - the dementia patients that get homesick and try go back to their families make a beeline for the bus shelters, they wait so long for the (non-existent) bus that they forget why they are there and the staff can safely escort them back to their rooms. It's good and he's such a lovely character.. However it's all a little too real life for me!!... You know I like silly and ridiculous!... I'm afraid of all the nasty arguments which are to come!.... It really is daft the whole marriage thing! You're right!... Harrumph!

If you can stick with it, there are other good characters. One of her colleagues reminds me attitude-wise of Christina Yang in Grey’s Anatomy.

Iu will stick with it... As it's a lovely story and it will be well told... But it'll be a slow one!... 👍😊

Gaaaaah. I don’t think this kdrama is going to end well. I hate sucky endings, especially where characters get ill and fade away.

There’s some really lovely bits in the middle, especially the bit at the hospital. You skippers are utter philistines. Me, I bitch and grumble endlessly, but I see it through....

I just found the FL a bit drippy. And as Bea says 4 yrs is nothing. And the FLs mother was ghastly ...

I hate it when they do the 2....3...5...years later thing at the end.

No, ML has a degenerative condition. Only other explanation is that conniving family members are lying to him about the extent of his condition and poisoning him, which coukd conceivably be reversible. It’s not the kind of thing you can fix with a transplant.

Hmmmm you’re not selling it to me I think I’ll stick with Familiar Wife where th selfish git ML is realising what a sod he was.

started watching The Heirs... quite fun in a very soap opera kind of way... another chaebol and ceo type drama... but still fun nevertheless... and got lovely Park Hyung Sik (SGBS) in.....

not given up on others... just spreading my wings until I get completely hooked on something and need a boot/peach to send me off to bed!
