A quiet corner of MN for serious addicts of Kdrama, or the Kdrama-curious. Most of our viewing is drawn from Netflix and Viki, but the more seriously addicted have other sources, including dramabus. The ML in Defendant is kind of metrosexual but not arrogant arse -story is he's a prosecutor who loses his memory and wakes up in prison to find he's supposed to have murdered his wife and child (but of course he didn't)

I might give Cain & Abel a go on Netflix for entirely shallow reasons (So Ji Sub).

So Ji-Sub is in something called Always on Viki with tousled hair - nice.
Haven't seen it though.

Excellent. I will definitely be watching that next - I tried to find it on viki recently, but possibly by its other title.

I might also give FantastiC another go - the one about the screenwriter diagnosed with cancer and paired up with a crap actor she hates for her latest script - that I dissed on the last thread. I’ve just noticed Ji Soo is in the main cast. /shallow

Ghost is though. So Ji Sub as a lead detective in the cybercrimes unit. Based on the first 10 mins we have a winner. I could listen to him read the phone directory TBH. The visuals are an added bonus.

Yes I did. I loved the concept and their commitment to executing it so well. It was very well done. Inliked the cast too. The ML just doesn’t float my boat, even if he is enjoyable to watch.

I have just watched The Wailing on Netflix, very creepy film. Need some froth to recover now.

It’s pretty pacey & the thriller/crime hook is a good one. There’s no dawdling. Also, lots of So Ji Sub in sharp suits. I am very, very happy.

He's a mere boy! 😭😂😂😂... Thus I go to Ji chang Wook for a more grrrr lead!! (he's.. Juuuuuust about out of the "boy" sphere!)... 😂😂😂

Ji Chang Wook qualifies IMO. I cannot wait for him to finish his military service in April and get back to acting.

I've recently discovered Ji Sung ( Kill Me Heal Me , Defendant) who isn't grrr in the JCW sense but has amazing speaking eyes and is 41 and rather gorgeous.

I Hear Your Voice is great, and I just read that the FL is married in real life to Ji Sung (see above). The cast are all still friends and met up just before Christmas.

Oh yes Ji Chang Wook definitely qualifies 👍

Yes come April I envisage an unseemly tussle for GRRR JCW. Hoping we’ll have some news beforehand as they often have projects lined up for when they finish military service

I was in bed before 1am this morning. I am time-shifting half an hour or so every night to get back to my normal bedtime.
