The loft story is insane. It's like they've shoehorned it in because they read this thread and know that the rooms situation has stretched credibility - but an instant loft conversion??

DP's adult DC just completed one. It took all her time, money and sanity a considerable input of resources.

I don't actually think it is insane. He isn't going to do a loft conversion, he's going to board the loft. I suspect a good few people think they can just do this.

I don’t understand why they’ve made Alfie skint - we’ve seen it all before. If they had to bring him back why not show how he’s changed now he has money & do something different. This is just a boring rerun of something we’ve already seen a 100 times - it’s had it’s day.

Shame he managed to get his tumour removed! There was hope of an early death but he overcame it!

Maybe it could come back? Perhaps he could bump his head on a roof rafter & when getting checked out by a doctor they could discover he only has minutes to live? Fingers crossed
