Yes, Kat absolutely nailed him last night, described him to a tee.

It's funny because I agreed with her 100% about Hayley - she is young, naive and vulnerable, and he did abuse that.

Agree with this. She's a very realistic character, I keep thinking I've met her in real life before, and Karen!

Yes Stacey had Sex with max last Christmas. I remember she was wearing a white floaty dress.

I feel so sorry for Hayley. She was barely even dragged up. Abused and neglected, Taken into care and she still goes to her abuser for help who then advises her to either literally prostitute herself or to send nude pictures of herself to cherry’s dad for money. Hayley doesn’t have any sort of reference for how a healthy relationship looks. She was throwing herself at Alfie because he is probably the only man who has ever shown her a hint of kindness (other than ken who she should’ve stuck with!) and he is the father of her child which for her, as a girl who never knew her father, and probably spent years dreaming of a handsome father coming to rescue her from her horrible mother, is the ultimate goal- to have cherry’s mum and dad together. That kind of upbringing creates massive issue so in forming healthy relationships as an adult. It would take years of therapy to get Hayley to recognise all this and learn to have healthy interactions with men.

It’s really only Kat and Stacey though. Both of whom have been victims of sexual abuse by men. Kats behaviour far worse than Stacey’s which reflects that the abuse she suffered was far more severe and long standing. I think people really underestimate the legacy of sexual abuse.
