Is anyone finding it totally out of character that Kat would be all cooing over Cherry the way she is all of a sudden? She’s not even cooing over her own children that she hasn’t seen all year but takes cherry off Alfie as if she’s her own baby, whisks her away and changes her nappy. It isn’t keeping with her character.

Yep, the Kat-Cherry scenes are a very clunky device to take the story to a very stupid place.

I really liked the actress who played the name-dropping choir mistress so it's a shame she's gone. I remember her from 2.4 Children in the 90s.
