I don’t feel sorry for Jenny either. I did when she was having to cope with Liz and Johnny and I didn’t want to see her fall into a bottle every night but she has behaved badly since the hit and run. She had plenty of opportunity to confess the truth to the police and she’s still lying.

Catching up now, why was Eileen after Jonny's blood when she thought it was him who knocked Liz over and boycotted the pub but after finding out its Jenny she wants Liz to forgive her as they all have to live on the same street!!!!
Eileen wanted Liz to tell the police that Jonny threatened her earlier that day but apparently now it's not ok to tell the police on Jenny

I agree with the Eileen thing. What kind of friend would say don't go to the police because you live on the same street. I also love how Johnny all of a sudden wants to make amends now even though before she was run over he wanted nothing more to do with her.

They had CCTV footage of a woman withdrawing amounts - it would take a lot of visits to get £80k!

I think your bank woul flag it up if £80k was being gradually withdrawn over a few days! Very annoying. They definitely should've left Nick in the quick sand!

Yes, why do Gary and Sarah have no money? I thought the whole point of him doing his dodgy private security jobs abroad was so him and Sarah wouldn't have any money troubles ever again.

DM and I are mildly obsessed with Gail's hair. She's an ex-hairdresser (DM, I mean) and it fascinates her. It keeps threatening to take over Gail's entire, tiny face like a huge all-encompassing thicket.

We think Helen Worth has to have regular breaks from the show to get her hair pruned, like topiary. Normal scissors wouldn't be up to the job.

I've got hair like Gail. Its fab most of the time, but I do have to be careful to avoid 'Gail-style' haircuts for fear of becoming her . Currently growing it long to drag it down a bit.

I'm very disappointed in Nick. Although its probably yet another story line that will disappear shortly, never to be returned to, so I'll not get invested.

Is it me, or are the stories getting a bit far fetched now. Everyone’s been in prison, or going to prison, or has dealings with the police.
I liked the story of Rita taking Brian on, Mary in Blackpool with Roy to pick up Jude.

If Nick has stolen the money, how did he manage it? There are limits to how much you can get at a cash point, and I think a bank would need a couple of day's notice before that amount could be withdrawn.

They would, they would also require you to attend in person with paperwork to verify the source of the money and where you were taking it. You’d need a very good reason to need £80k in cash and it would be sent to money laundering for investigation before you were given any cash. I used to work in a bank. Anything over £5k was automatically referred to ML. Never saw anything as big as £80k being taken in cash.

There might be only 10 or 20k in the bag though. It's a strange storyline, is there any possibility that Nick is innocent? Sally needs to get out of prison, now.

Yes, what happened to all that money Gary earned in the Ukraine? He did it because the money was very good, and would set them up. They should decamp to Grasmere Drive! Especially as Aud is back in the Platt's Tardis.

I don't think Barbara Knox is too well. She is over 80 though, and looks fab.

The problem with Classic Corrie being on at the same time is that the difference in quality is all the more stark. I mean, we all know it's gone downhill but now the proof is right there. Liz, Audrey, Gail, Sally, Kev, Rita, Ken, Steve ... all with strong dialogue and decent storylines to deliver, unlike now.

Maureen Lipmam is very good. They need to hire a few more actors of her calibre and get rid of tons of current characters.

I really don't get the Gary and Sarah thing either. It's come out of nowhere. Until Nick's completely unremarkable gym bag suddenly became the talk of Weatherfield I assumed Gary and Sarah's sudden money troubles were building towards Gary being revealed as the thief. Not sure where they're going with it now.

They are introducing a lot of youngish characters, who have no previous history on the street and turn up out of the blue. Gemma has never mentioned a twin brother, but she must have been in touch with him as he knew where to find her.
