Nah, don't buy it. I don't think Tim and Gina had sex, he was too far gone and still dressed in the morning, but she'll make out that they did.

She was complaining in the bistro about her friend being served the wrong kind of garlic bread, I think. As a plot device, it's kind of puzzling.

ahh, wasn't paying that much attention, clearly. I saw that bit but was sort of chatting at the same time.

Am staying with relatives and watching Corrie much more than normal, so I have questions.

How is Gina able to be oh-so-conveniently on the spot seemingly every time Sally rings from prison, so she can answer the call and feed her one story while telling Tim the opposite? Is she tracking Tim 24/7 with hidden cameras or something?

I've never been a fan of Sally's but this whole SL is absolutely ludicrous. There'll have to be one hell of a reckoning when the truth comes out (please tell me it will, and soon).

The Adam thing was just awful.

He was a bystander when woman in bistro rudely complained about having no garlic bread. He told her she had no manners. Michelle intervened. Then later she complained the garlic bread wasn’t gluten free and Adam, still standing at the bar offers to show her the wine list to make up for the mistake. Next thing they’re arriving back at the flat to have very unpassionate sex while sinead battels cancer on the sofa.

Wasn't there a time when Christmas day episodes of Soaps had big stories and exciting things going on?

This episode of Corrie has been as exciting as three day old dry turkey.

Watching Jenny unravel is not pleasant. However, it'll be interesting to see where the plot line heads. It's not supposed to be pleasant though. I am pained for Jenny. I like her as a character.

Glad the Sally/Tim plot had resolved. Love them as a couple.

They always make Jenny turn a bit evil when things don’t go her way. Is Johnny destined to end up with Liz (if she lives)?

Tim’s table flip was pretty spectacular. It made me wince for Sally though, given she’s so house proud.

Yasmeen was knocking back the red but I thought she used to be teetotal for religious reasons?

Carla looked nice tonight. Wish they’d give her a story!

The most amazing thing about tonight for me was Maureen Lipmans acting. The subtlety and the truth to it. Really shows the others up for being shite.

Generally I thought it was all a bit poorly done and boring over Xmas.
