I like Holly on this, and I'm not missing Ant (although I really laughed at that photo of him and Phil Schofield ).

I enjoyed Harry Redknapp and John Barrowman's first dates anecdotes tonight!

I think he wanted to give Anne the pillow and was just trying to find a way of saying that, obviously he realised she needed it more than him so decided to give it to her. I really don't think he's calculated or fake, what odd things to say.

I’m alone in not liking Holly then ? Mind you I don’t like her on “This Morning”. Actually I don’t like “This Morning” I don’t watch it as I can’t stand her or Phil. Smugness personified

I like her on This Morning, just can’t get used to her in celeb.

I’m not really enjoying Holly presenting, there’s a lack of warmth between the 2 of them (maybe not warmth, just a connection that isn’t there), and no sparky stupid jokes.
She just giggles at him.
I don’t watch This Morning but I’ve seen clips of it, she seems to just be presenting this in the same way.
I don’t know, I think it’s a tough gig for anyone, but it’s not stopping me watching, those bits are short enough.

I think with the trials though everyone has different limits - Anne is clearly not physically very fit and for her doing the gnome challenge was the height of physicality for her. I voted John Barrowman for it because I want to see him pushed in terms of swimming to see how good he is

It’s uncomfortable watching Anne so upset.
I think she needs to leave.
It could be awesome for her if she stayed but I think just changing one set of circumstances is challenging enough for here just physically being in the jungle, without different or lack of food, creature comforts, and doing trials.

I don’t want to see her pushed over the edge and continually unhappy
I think she’s been very brave to do it.

We don’t know much about her life. How used she is to travelling and new sets of circumstances etc

In my newspaper yesterday it said tv ratings are up because of holly!
Don't think so, ratings are up because there is nothing much to watch on tv at the mo!!

This is the first time I have watched IAAC and feel like I've missed our!
I had seen the last few minutes before the news but never really understood it.

The celebrities I knew where NK! HR! AH JB and of course NE now they have announced he is going in.

They all seem nice people especially Fleur and Emily . I like Harry's stories. I've always liked John Barrowman.

I don't know what Ant and Dec where like but DP who has watched it said it looks like Dec is enjoying himself.
I like Holly and she seems to be doing ok.

I hope Anne is going to be ok and the group continue to be understanding and supportive.

I don't think the ratings are anything to do with Holly (IMO) - more to do with a 'decent' ie interesting bunch of campers and the very welcome lack of reality slebs that no-one really cares about.

Noel is/was a 70s and 80s tv icon. Even non-footie fans know who Harry R is. John B has great charisma and presence, Nick K has done fab work on tv - and all of these are 50+.

Anne is adding a whole new dimension to the show (though I have to say I was uncomfortable watching her in the trial; didn't seem quite right to me).

I suspect Sair and Malique will be the 1st to go - they don't seem to be particularly charismatic or interesting or contributing much (too young?).

The production team chose well this year I think.

Looking forward to Noel going in!

I disagree. As in every year you klonly know them if you watch/are interested in what they do.

If you don't watch soaps, x factor or Inbetweeners then thats 5 campmates you won't have heard of this year.

There are some big names in there this year though, when it's usually reality contestants. Famous for being on game shows such as X Factor for example or shows such as TOWIE.
These are well established names been around for ages.
Eg John Barrowman, Noel Edmonds just two of them.

They're not the only ones. Nick K has been doing DIY SOS for many years - everyone knows who he is. I've never heard of Roxie, Malique or Sair because I don't watch soaps any more, but even my 59 year old self knows the Vamps and Fleur and Anne (though I don't watch The Chase).
