Anyone else planning to watch?!

As I said it depends on what you watch. My DM doesn't watch soaps or ex factor or know who The Vamps are. My DSis knows about the Vamps and Fleur East but none of the soap stars or Emily Atack.

Also the most famous campmates don't always make the best contestants or series.

The spike in those watching will be because of Holly and the fact it has started quite a bit later this year.

I didn't know sair or malique because I don't watch those soaps.

Don’t ususlly watch much as but this lot seem a good mix and no obvious pin up girls pcked just to look good in a bikini. The older camp mates are all strong.

And i think Holly is doing great - i like her rapport with Dec. Funniest thing on the show was watching her react to Emily in the snake trial when the snake was going for her. She looks bloody fabulous - why did i think she was small and curvy?

She was curvy until recently. I think she has said in the past she is 5ft 6ish.

I foresee a split camp in the future. Ie. nick v John, or Nick v Noel.

I think thet will all struggle with Noel. He seems to be going in alone as a late comer too.

I see Noel as being annoying, much like Ian Lee last year.
I don’t actually think I’ve seen him on tv since Noel’s house party 30 years ago so am prepared to retract my views as the series develops!!

Please don't say Anne needs to leave. I know how it looks to NT people. But how she is behaving is normal, everyday behaviour for somebody on the spectrum. It's good for people to see the reality of autism rather than the mask.

I know it looks like she's not coping. But she is because she's still there. I've been like her in certain situations and I want to get to the end, despite what it might look like to the outside world.

I don't believe anyone is saying Anne needs to leave Mimpi, or that anyone wants her to leave. But people are worried about her and don't want her to feel too stressed. It's uneasy viewing seeing someone vulnerable suffering in difficult situations, I think because she is genuinely suffering whereas the others are 'just' scared and uncomfortable.

But I take your point. And if you say she's OK because she's still there then I believe you.

I think the experience will be great for Anne if everyone lets her go it at her own pace. When the camp where exercising she said she might eventually join in. I can't imagine that she usually hangs out with people like Rita, fleur or james and them being so kind to her might help open her up to new experiences and see her open up n enjoy it. Hopefully the producers won't meddle n let her get there.

Re: Holly. I like her and as someone said she has a hard job replacing a much loved presenter. She doesn't need to light up the sky, she just needs to get through it unscathed without saying or doing anything people can get wound up about, I think she will be happy with that. I like that she's continuing to be herself n not being 'Ant'. Also find it ironic how social media was screaming that Ant should never be allowed on tv after the car incident, and now everyone is complaining he isn't on tv :/

You're right. She needs kindness to help her get through. She's so brave and doing a wonderful job of showing people what autism really looks like, rather than the mask. Hopefully people will learn and be a bit more caring to the autistic people around them.

She's showing what 'stressed' means for an autistic person and hopefully it will lessen the 'but everyone gets like that' comments the next time an autistic person says that they find doing x stressful. MIL I'm looking at you

I hope it doesn't become the Noel Edmond. I don't mind him but don't like it when the show becomes about one person. And I suppose the producers will want value for money if they're paying him £600k!
I want it to stay a nice camp. Big Brother went too cruel which is why they couldn't get any big names on it. Stay nice n it'll draw well known celebs in.

Mark Labette (sp) was on Loose Women today talking about Anne as they are really good friends and she is godmother to his DC.

He says she will be fine.

I'm sorry to be controversial but I don't like Anne. She comes across as a dramatic lazy slob. I felt sorry for her at the start but she's bright and knew it would be difficult. Would have been better for her to decline the job and let someone who really wants to be in the show take part. Her task was extremely tame and she still bottled out, and she annoyed that fleur completed most of the dingo challenge alone.

She's sucking the luge out of the show. They're all too nice and it's starting to get dull. Loving Rita.

I can just about cope with Nick's 'jamming' talk, I can't take Noel's sexy shenanigans as well.

Just read the wiki entry on Noel Edmonds and wonder if he is going to try and sell some of his theories about energy and the cosmos. I can just imagine Harry's face! Also if Anne doesn't agree with him she might take him on in a huge argument. The guardian reckons he's going to use the programme to air his grievances about his lawsuit with Lloyd's bank which apparently is due in court while he's in the jungle.
