I have met Nick Knowles a few times and he has always been fine tbh.

I’m liking Holly now to my surprise.

Everyone seems lovely so far. Wasn’t keen on Fleur at all on xfactor but she’s very likeable in this. As for calling her plain/unattractive - she’s STUNNING 🙄

I'm liking Holly too. And I feel that Dec's really blossoming without Ant.

Fleur is stunning and seems lovely too. I didn’t watch her on X factor.

I don’t mind people being immune to trials- it’ll be medical/weight/allergy related and that’s life. There is more to the programme than the trials and there’s still plenty she can do. It’s nice to see a bigger mix of people.

Don’t think Sair or Malic(sp) have had much air time yet, I’d like to see more of them.

What a mean lot you are tonight! I thought it was really nice of Nick to give Anne his pillow. Anne is not getting on anyone's nerves, she's been as brave as she can be. Not everyone is gung ho (aka stupid).
I'd rather be in the camp with any or all of them than a lot of you on this thread.

Aw, it was lovely to give her his pillow, I'm with you on that one! Think the contestants seem really nice so far this year, a lot of actual proper celeb names on it and they're all so supportive! For now, hope it lasts

I thought it was nice of Nick too llangennith, if in the next few days he turns out to be not so nice then fine but until then I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but I do think him and John will clash like I said before, they are big personalities.

Regarding Anne having exemptions from trails it nothing knew, Stanley last year also remember Edwina Curry being exempt from some trails and others over the years.

I like Anne, it's clearly a difficult challenge she has set herself, so fair play to her, if you live in a world of logic and order it's very hard to accept different ways and changes, she'll do her best to adapt I think, but she won't beat herself up if she walks out either.

Can't believe someone has criticised Fluers look, jesus that's just nasty, no need for that at all.

John is very lovely in real life. I know someone who’s grandparents were very frail and he was a lovely neighbour to them picking up shopping and bring the DW home when she wandered. Same with his DH.

I think James will be voted off first. He doesn't seem to get much airtime.

Dec has just become a father. I suspect that may have something to do with him being happy. Ant and he have been the closest of friends for decades - I'm sure he's missing him.

I’m not as keen on Anne as I was in the first episode. I really like Nick, I don’t know why you’s don’t think he’s genuine.

To me the Nick pillow thing was just game playing. Even DH who is usually oblivious said he thought it was quite a crafty move.

You being the luxury item you want he wanted a pillow for comfort no issues here think it's a great idea it's would I would take I think.

Who takes a luxury item with the plan to give it away it seems a bit premeditated to me something that will make him look good I just don't buy it as purely nice

Well he obviously chose the pillow as his luxury item for himself but then thought that Anne needed it more than he did and gave it to her. Nice of him. Not everyone does good deeds with ulterior motives.

But that's not what he said. He said I picked this so I could give it to whoever was struggling to sleep. I think if he had just said yeah I want this but I think you need it then it would have been different. But using your luxury item like that is a bit calculated I think

I think Nick chose the pillow to use for himself initially, but then had the conversation with Anne where she broke down about being physically uncomfortable just before his pillow came into camp. When he got it he realised she needed it more than him but didn't want to sound like an arsehole by saying 'I packed this for me but here you have it Anne' as that would make her feel guilty. I think he told a little lie to make her want to accept the pillow. He would have to have a lot of foresight to have planned that I reckon.
I think a lot of people would have done the same thing.
Maybe he's a dick the other 99% of the time.
