Anyone daring to watch? Glitterball

(Did it really have a mermaid in it?)

Fair play to you Jane for your follow-up post. I wish you well in your life and I'm pleased you're finally happy in your own skin 💐

GunpowderGelatine · 06/11/2018 19:12

And as infuriating as I have found some of Jane's posts, she is absolutely not obliged to give details of her anatomy or wife and children

NopeNi · 06/11/2018 19:19

"what else do I , or any other trans woman need to do more than I have".

Nothing.

Nothing at all.

There's nothing you can do to be truly female.

It's not a test or a trial, there's no trick answers to it, there's no cruelty or kindness involved. It's just logic and reality. It's like saying "what do I have to do to be a cloud?"

Humans can't really transform.

You can absolutely act and make yourself look the part, and society can be kind and lie. It absolutely shouldn't be abusive or stop you having fundamental human rights or happiness.

BUT you're not female, and there should be limits to how much transwomen can claim in the name of womanhood.

Our sports, our refuges, our chances at equality - those shouldn't be open to males. Neither should our stories, our histories, our shared biology, our shared oppression. You can't identify into these and if you truly respected and understood women, you wouldn't.

You shouldn't pretend there are no differences between us, or that you're really identical. You're not - and crucially that's not a bad thing.

oooompa · 06/11/2018 19:21

NopeNi 👏

Sadly I think the TRAs will never understand this

Datun · 06/11/2018 19:23

Autogynephilia fetishises women and their biology. Including talking about periods, vaginas, sanitary towels, etc. You talking about blood soaking a white dress being 'par for the course', is you suggesting that whatever haemorrhaging you had is the same as a woman having a menstrual accident.

No it isn't.

Stop it.

PerverseConverse · 06/11/2018 19:26

GunpowderGelatine I agree, but I've noticed that Jane and others like them come on here to try and get us to understand but will only share certain things. Any information that will bring into question what they are saying they refuse to share. Only the informative that supports their narrative is given. That's their choice and right but it doesn't help anyone understand which makes me wonder why they bother trying to explain if they are only prepared to share certain things. I too hope Jane has found peace but their attitude here makes me think otherwise. Yet another sad story of a little boy who had to adhere to stereotypes to be accepted by his family.

FissionChips · 06/11/2018 19:27

I am not mad

Why do TRA’s always have to mention about not being crazy? It always comes across as they think it’s the worst possible thing to be.

NopeNi · 06/11/2018 19:34

Yy Datun.

Also for the love of god, please no one else use sanitary towels to try and stop excessive bleeding. They're for periods. Apply pressure instead and get to A&E as soon as possible.

(Ignoring the squeamish question of why someone would even have them if they don't have periods. I don't even have them all the time!)

Datun · 06/11/2018 19:42

Autogynephila Is a fetish where a man will become aroused at the thought of themselves as a woman, particularly the biological aspect.

There are 'menstruation kits' online for men to buy. That mimic periods.

Hazandduck · 06/11/2018 20:24

@Datun I cannot believe that! So grim! I’m kind of too scared to google that...

PerverseConverse · 06/11/2018 20:40

Every time I think I can't be grossed out any more by some of these men, there comes more information that makes me want to vomit. Has AGP always been a thing or has it taken off with the advent of the internet? Back in the 90s, beastiality was the only thing I ever heard mentioned in terms of weird sex things. Don't even know what to call it. I've just googled the word as wasn't sure how to spell it and am now feeling sick at all the porn sites that were listed in the search results. What is WRONG with some people?! Oh and obviously s&m was a thing but my sheltered mind thought that was just fluffy handcuffs and silk scarfs for blindfolds. I much prefer those innocent days of yore!

BeyondVicious · 06/11/2018 21:34

Slight name change suggests mnhq banned you, Jane. I wonder what for?

FYI a layer of epidermal stratum basale cells cannot turn into layer of mucousal membrane without magic.

BeyondVicious · 06/11/2018 21:36

AGP men have also been known to deliberately injure themselves to induce a "period"

Melamin · 06/11/2018 21:38

Joys of the internet - brings everyone together Hmm

OP posts:
Datun · 06/11/2018 21:49

That an interesting question. I guess there have always been cross dressers, who get a sexual thrill out of wearing women's clothes. AGP is the same sort of thing, but worse, if you see what I mean. Apparently, the joke is what's the difference between a transvestite and an autogynephile and the answer is about three years. I don't know if that's true, but it gives an indication of the 'spectrum'.

And yes, I think the Internet has a lot to answer for. It allows these disparate group of men to join forces and legitimise one another by dint of numbers.

Add the Stonewall definition of transgender to include cross dressers, and bingo, you've got a bunch of fetishists all claiming respectability via transgenderism. Not just respectability, but victimhood.

It's not fool proof, but a rule of thumb is if they are late transitioning, heterosexual, and have, historically, used their penis in a 'beneficial' way (i.e. fatherhood, sex) etc, then they are probably AGP.

Banging on about periods, pregnancy, lactation, sanitary towels, mood swings, gynaecology, etc, is a dead giveaway.

Janekent3 · 06/11/2018 22:02

Thanks Italiangreyhound.

Maybe there has been a few on here who may understand.

Datun · 06/11/2018 22:06

jane HQ take a very dim view of banned posters re-registering under a new nickname.

Far better to respond to their emails and wait and see what they say.

The rules aren't difficult to understand. In your case, you can't use the words terf and cis. And you can't make personal attacks.

FissionChips · 06/11/2018 22:07

I don't think people like Jane realise that disregarding boundaries and rules talking to women on a forum largely populated by women, is really not a good look when you are trying to access women only spaces in real life.

Yet another highly offensive comment by someone who has no idea about the difference between transvestites and transgender people.

As for your last comment, I only got onto that subject after another poster raised the issue that I couldn't be a women as I didn't go through all the difficulties do like having periods. Once more you have twisted my reply so you can insult. Not nice!

Datun · 06/11/2018 22:11

Um, you might want to take up with stonewall. They include transvestites under transgender. Not me. Don't blame women for pointing it out.

I have not been banned, just wanted a break from all the unnecessary comments and let everyone, including me calm down.

As for the rules; yes these have been broken by a number of posters such as you and this is in the hands of the moderators.

I will live by "the rules" if you will!

I believe I have described Blanchard's typology upthread?

Interesting that you continue to blame women for that though.

But as far as Stonewall etc & the Self-ID campaigners are concerned there is no difference any longer. There's just the trans umbrella & the likes of Pips Bunce getting a woman's award & Travis Alabanza having free access to girls' changing rooms. That's where we are. That's where transactivism has pushed us.
