Thread 4 almost done....

Lauren, I don't know what it is, it looks like she's holding back. I don't know whether she's scared about it not being perfect? I also thought the clip they showed at the end of her dance was a bit unfair — in that spin with her leg up she needed to point her toes, she looks like she's wearing a welly boot. There were other bits that looked nicer!

And I thought Kate was fantastic and should have finished higher up the board.

GK has the voice of a goddess. If they muck up her slot “tomorrow” with a silly dance I shall not be pleased.

“You’re the Best Thing that Ever Happened to Me”. is my favourite song ever, it’s how I feel about DH.

I'm late to the party but need to give you my observations anyway...

The Matrix was amazing, Katya's choreography was outstanding but I thought the harness lift was pointless at the end. All that faff for nothing! And yes, Katya has a core of steel, she's amazing.... but I notice that her amazing talent seems to overshadow the limitations of her partner. He's not that great, she's carrying him.

I thought Faye as ONJ was brilliant - not many women can carry off that outfit. BUT I thought she was overmarked. She was great but there were moments of hesitancy which let her down.

I want to like Lauren, but she just doesn't have the fluid movement. She overthinks it, she needs to loosen up. I want her to do well!

I found Craig's smutty comments towards Joe a little inappropriate. If he had made the same comments to a young woman, it wouldn't have been ok.

I love Danny. He's elegant and charming.

Actually (sorry for the multiple posts!) I think I'd have preferred a dance to A Lovely Night (). I'm just not sure Katie could have managed it yet, you'd need a bit more flash and performance for it, and she did well with City of Stars. But they shouldn't have given her those shoes. Not without a tap section at any rate!

Just got to the end. Can’t believe Bruno gets away with his behaviour, that getting into Faye’s space was awful, I hope she has a word with someone. Just yuck.

I voted for Katie x2 and Graeme (I liked his dance and DD always votes for Oti). If I had been watching in real time I may have voted for Faye as that quickstep went off so fast I didn’t think she’d keep up.

Alijaz always seems to enjoy his animal costumes!

Liked the one handed lift that Charles and Karen did. Found DJJ disappointing. Liked Sean’s paso but it was mostly Katya.

Unless Lee can find a few fans, unlike last week, he’ll be bottom two.

When does Monkseal publish his fabulous recaps? Tonight or tomorrow?

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams Agreed! I appreciate the costuming requirements but a pair of delicate heels would make the footwork look so much crisper! Argh!

Tess calling Charles a 'sexy beast'... calm down love, it's a family show!

Loved Kevin & Stacey - very family friendly. They looked ridiculous but it all worked.

Loved Faye as ON-J - she pulled off the outfit.

The Sean and Katya dance was striking and attractive but Sean is not doing much. It looked good but he didn't appear to move much.

Tess's arms are too thin.

Darcey's hair was awful tonight.

Kate Silverton looked stunning in her dress. Loved her.

Overall, I seem to be enjoying this year's show.

Am rewatching them all now and Katie's was normal length 1.42. She and Charles have the least number of views...not that I'm sure that means much.
I think overall it probably should be Lauren vs Katie, Lauren to go based on tonight's performance but I hope it's Charles vs Lee. If so, they'll say so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen goodbye to Fromblue which seems a tad unfair but them there's the breaks.

polka do they do cuban heels/ballroom heels in a size 8 and a half or would the producers have to make special ones or are all the slebs shoes bespoke/made to measure?

Strictly buy the shoes from IDS, they can custom-make anything! Size, width, heel height, colour, colour of sole etc. They're really good, if you don't know what size will fit, you can draw around your feet and send that to them and they'll work it out for you. It wouldn't surprise me if they measured all the celebs at the beginning of the series.

I know a man who has size 15 feet and they had to cut his by hand because they didn't have a template large enough! And they sent them out in two shoeboxes, one for each shoe.

Although since they seem to be sticking people in anything but ballroom and Latin shoes these days they might not have to make quite so many pairs!

Those pap pics look staged... they're smiling at the camera in one pic.

Hope it's not true because Seann's girlfriend was in the audience tonight, sobbing happy tears while he danced. She looked so proud.
