Faye and Joe Varney - loved it! How brave to quickstep in a catsuit! And what a touch for her that Ashley has stolen the 'ringer' role so she can just be amazing.

Katya's core must be made of steel or summat. That was an absolutely stellar bit of choreography, and I loved how they both sold it.

Glad you like the cat...we got approval for it during #miltonthecockroachgate and were accused of being distracted like a cat with a glittery toy etc on here and across on reddit (when I asked Justine for it in the midst of that thread just before Stratters asked for her name back then all hell broke loose). Then when it appeared people were bitchy again and others likened it to a bomb or didn't know what it was for....but they can all get knotted cos I loved it then and love it still

Underwhelmed by quite a few tonight
I loved Kevin and Stacey's minions - not even a Kevin fan, but it was so energetic.
Was a bit surprised at how much I actually liked the vlogger ( Joe?)
Ashleigh - loved her dress ( besides the point ) but I thought it was a bit ordinary apart from the lifts, but hey, maybe I am just a tweak jealous
Dr Ranj disappointed me tonight, I thought Kate was good as Jessica Rabbit - its really hard to dance slow, and she did well

I really liked Sean's paso surprisingly too , and Kaye did well too, how quick was that????
The para-olympian looked uncomfortable to me, she didn't get into the dance at all
Lee to go I think - he didn't do much, and did they put the smoke on the floor to disguise his steps?

It's kind of a shame for the celebs as there are so many competent/journey ones this year. In previous years there have been at least 4-6 who were absolute rubbish, no improvement and insufferable to watch! The better people got to stay in for longer.

This year I'm quite intrigued by everyone's progress!

I really enjoyed Graeme's and thought he was nicely in time.

Katie looked like she was enjoying it more, but I don't know why they had in those shoes — in the film they're tap shoes and fit A Lovely Night but they didn't work with the more gentle song and feel. She'd have been better in low-heeled ballroom shoes. Also, in a foxtrot she should be dancing heel turns, and they're much easier in ballroom heels than Cuban heels, because the heel is more forward on the shoe, so your weight is in a better place.
