Yes, the solicitor, the one with the lopsided hair; last heard of having an affair with Sophie. What happens to all these forgotten storylines? I sometimes wonder if I have missed or forgotten great chunks of story.

Very strange Amy being in hospital with an elbow injury and missing the wedding and then both her parents go off to Morocco and leave her. Tracey comes back without a tan (unlike Billy who went to CofE rehab and was back with a tango) and doesn't even mention going to see Amy. Who is in charge of writing continuity???

It's dire _ both Emmerdale and Corrie are crap atm.

We can't all be forgetting great chunks of story though. I think they are actually missing bits or chopping bits out and forgetting to put them back in. You'd think the actors themselves would pipe up when pages of script appear to have gone missing. Its like we are all be gaslighted to believe we have memory issues.

I think ought that maybe the actress playing Amy is poorly also googled around a bit. It's odd because there's no mention of why shes absent. I'd swear that usually there would be something mentioned if a cast member is suddenly ill or something. Makes me wonder if Amy will be back with a different head.

Not sure how old the actress is, but she might have had exams while the current episodes were being filmed. I'd like Chesney to have permanent exams! And Gary.

What's happened to Maria? Wasn't she supposed to be the manager of Claudia's new salon? Did that fall through?

Tracey did mention talking to someone/getting together 'after seeing Amy'.

Agree though, writers need to incorporate small mentions of on-going storylines, rather than leave them alone for loads of episodes, then coming back to them.

Liz: I'm knackered, looking after Oliver while his Mum's been in hospital.
Seb/Johnny: I have a hospital appointment later at the HIV/MS clinic.

Then again, they might have mentioned all of the above recently, but I've nodded off by that point.

I'm wondering if the wedding etc was filmed around exam time as both Amy & Simon were off screen at the same time.

Yes, I presume there was some reason why the Amy actress couldn't film, though the hastily written 'she can't attend her parents' wedding' makes me think it was unplanned, rather than exams or something. You'd think they could have come up with something less weird than an 'elbow injury' though, wouldn't you?

Amateur predictor here, but I can see Nick and Shona having chemistry and Angie being hooked up with the much mentioned new Senegalese Weatherfield Wanderers footballer..

When Nick and Shona were arguing my family all said "I wonder how long before they get those two together zzz..." No bedroom for Nick? Reality creeping in? there was no end of expanding bedrooms when Bethany and Sarah (and often Gary) lived there.

Adam is woefully underused. More stories for him. He is quite a peripheral character. Angie could do worse than go in for round two with him.

Do Craig, Beth and Kirk all still live in Maria’s one bed flat?

The last I remember is that, Kirk, Beth & Craig live in Aiden’s flat, I think Carla paid the rent, so that Beth & Kirk would sabotage the Factory orders when Alya was running it.

Surely Carla's still not paying the rent?

No The whole rent thing will just be yet another storyline that's fallen into the ever increasing 'let's never mention.it again' list

I think she paid 3 or 6 months upfront - be interesting to see if they remember to address it when that time runs out!

IIRC Carla said Aiden had paid the rent upfront for six months. Not sure how he rented it back sinceI thought Eva had sold it?

Are Leanne etc moving into Nick's old flat? I thought he had sold that and given Leanne £27k from the sale. How come it was avilable (magically to rent). I also though it only had 2 bedrooms. I missed a bit of the episodes when Nick came back.

Yes and why didn’t Nick question what had happened to 27k he gave Leanne that got nicked by a con artist?!

I don’t think it’s nick and Leanne’s old flat they’re in because she said “kal died in this flat” so it must be the one Tracey set the fire in. I can’t remember who lived there. Was it Leanne and kal?

No, wasn't it Carla's flat? Really hideous decor? Or was that the one Jenny and Johnny lived in?

I think Tracy set the fire by accident in Carla's flat. She planned to kill Carla but heard the toilet flush and left the candle too near a lamp or curtain. Amy was in the flat (unknown by Tracy at the time). I think Kal saw the fire and went in to help.
