Oops! Just posted on the old thread and it passed 1000 messages and died. Thought I had better start a new one quick!

Oh what are we like It's barely 7.30 am and we're looking in on the Joseph thread!

Berrie · 19/06/2007 07:33

Lyra, oggs, I'm going on holiday this week, will I be excluded from the gang when I come back? Will there even be a gang?

Berrie · 19/06/2007 07:34

Slayerette, will you have moved on from this embarrassing Leefest?

Berrie · 19/06/2007 07:35

RTKanga, will you have stopped finding us lovely pictures to keep us going?

lyrabelacqua · 19/06/2007 08:56

Maybe a holiday is what you need to break the addiction
I'm sure we'll still be here when you get back. Where are you going?

Berrie · 19/06/2007 09:22

Cornwall
We laaaaarve Cornwall
We got married there we love it so much.
We are booked from Saturday to Saturday but are thinking of taking the tent from tomorrow. Trouble is the weather forcast is not great and I'm not sure wether I fancy caming with two little ones in the rain. We looked at booking a B&B but it was going to be £75 per night and we realised that we could buy a family tent for that so we're off to look at them when dh gets back
Not sure I want to break my Lee addiction
Have you a holiday planned this year? (I sound like your hairdresser now!)

Berrie · 19/06/2007 09:29

P.S.
I am gorgeous...underneath 2 stone of excess weight and 10 years ago

Berrie · 19/06/2007 09:30

p.p.s
Better make it 3 stone if Lee's girlfriend is the benchmark

lyrabelacqua · 19/06/2007 11:36

We're going to the south of France in August. First time for both of us so should be interesting. The boys are looking forward to going in a plane. how old are yours? Mine are 4 and 2, soon to be 3 and 5.

lyrabelacqua · 19/06/2007 11:38

ps, same here on the weight. At least a stone and a half to lose. In fact, I'm starting Atkins today so hopefully in a month or so I'll be as svelte as I was pre-babies.

Berrie · 19/06/2007 11:58

Ds is 3 and dd is 21 months. I have just lost 1/2 a stone in a fortnight meaning I've gone down a dress size on the bottom and it
The Berrie weight loss plan goes like this...
Muesli for breakfast, bean soup for lunch, chicken salad for dinner(or smaller portions if different) Apples, raisins, rice cakes for snacks. Long walks every day with football in the park (much less embarrassing than running with the buggy)
I reckon whatever you do works because you are limiting what you usually eat in some way. I expect I'm going to have to start all over agin after the holiday though. Having said that, since DS has a peanut allergy we don't tend to have the ice creams and cream teas etc anymore. Last year I sneaked off to eat an ice cream where he couldn't see but a seagull swooped down and put it's dirty great claws through it...serves me right
Where abouts are you going in the S.O. France? My Dad has a house nr Carcassonne. It's supposed to be lovely but we've not been yet as last year the flights + car hire + a weeks camping on the coast cost more than a package.
You should be drier than us!

Berrie · 19/06/2007 12:01

p.s. Just re read my post about being gorgeous and it doesn't read well. I was joking

lyrabelacqua · 19/06/2007 12:06

We're staying near Nice for the first week, then Antibes for the second week, and planning day trips to places like Cannes, St Tropez, Monaco. We usually go for spain or italy (since the little ones arrived anyway). We did go to Devon a couple of years ago but the weather was very hit and miss.
what part of the country do you live in? We're in south west London.

Berrie · 19/06/2007 12:46

We live in the East Midlands. Your holiday sounds great. I'd love to go to my Dad's house but every time I suggest it, he wants to be there too and I'm not sure whether I want to be on holiday with him for our main holiday anyway.
Perhaps when I'm earning again we'll do it though they're thinking of trading it in for an apartment on the coast which suits me too.
Have your boys not been on a plane recently then? I remember being in the airport on the way back last year with ours, feeling like I needed a holiday! We'd forgotten to plan all the distractions for the return journey.

lyrabelacqua · 19/06/2007 12:49

We went on a plane to italy last year, so about 10 months, but that's a long time for them. We try to keep our flights short otherwise they're a nightmare. We'd love to take them to Disneyworld in Florida but I can't face the long flight yet.

Berrie · 19/06/2007 12:52

Is Richmond in South West London? My brother lives in Richmond so it's the only bit of London I'm familiar with. Hope my geography isn't too embarrassingly out.

lyrabelacqua · 19/06/2007 13:00

It is! It's about 10 mins drive from where I live. My mum and brother live in Richmond.

Berrie · 19/06/2007 13:23

Aha, well there you go! Perhaps I will unwittingly bump into you one day in the park. You won't know it's me because you'll be expecting someone gorgeous!

oggsfrog · 19/06/2007 14:36

Nice picture Lyra .

Been out all day shopping, and have to go and get dd soon, so will be back later.

Oh, the lovely Lee is in NOW magazine (boy, was I embarrassed standing skimming through all the mags for sightings ), looking particulary luscious.

Berrie · 19/06/2007 15:02

Bum, this pile for the car is about 2 cars worth and I've still got a huge pile of ironing to do yet. Not sure where it will go then, the case is full! Why do I still expect to take one case when there are twice as many of us now?

lyrabelacqua · 19/06/2007 15:03

Berrie, we'll recognise each other by the Lee Mead fan t-shirts we'll be wearing
thanks for the tip, Oggs. I've got to go shopping later so i'll pick up a copy.

lyrabelacqua · 19/06/2007 15:04

x posted.
I've got a case the size of a small wardrobe and I still can't fit everything in.

Azure · 19/06/2007 15:29

Does anyone know whether Lee will be doing all the performances or whether there will be someone else for e.g. the matinees? We're going August 8th matinee.

Berrie · 19/06/2007 15:49

Azure, I don't know but I'm pretty sure that he will do them all. You could ring the box office at the Adelphi, they could tell you.

Berrie · 19/06/2007 16:21

Yikes Lyra, then we really would be like those women on those pictures.
Let's just look out for other Mums (gorgeous Mums) humming Paint It Black!
