They are hugely in debt

This programme is hilariously stupid. Every week DH and I shake our heads at the stupidity of the people on it.

howwudufeel · 14/08/2019 20:30

I missed the beginning. How much in debt are they?

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/08/2019 20:32

He likes the cheap coat

*Blondeshavemorefun

He likes the cheap coat*

Coats are available in all types of shop! Who knew...? 🙄

Benjispruce · 14/08/2019 20:34

I have a kitchen designer friend who tells me try to push 2x ovens to bump up their commission. It’s not standard at all, not necessary, a pure luxury which is fine if you’re not up to your eyeballs in debt!

Benjispruce · 14/08/2019 20:35

*they try

Skinnychip · 14/08/2019 20:35

OMG! 25k of unworn clothes????

jay55 · 14/08/2019 20:35

The clothes are just insane. Utterly insane.

PolkadotLollipop · 14/08/2019 20:35

“It’s like a melted candle”

Grin

I feel ya, Alex.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/08/2019 20:36

Who indeed @Skinnychip 😂😂

And pjs. You just can’t tell by feeling them

Solonelywastheballard · 14/08/2019 20:36

The show doesn't actually work. Because more expensive thing should last better. When cheap things are brand new, the appear to look and perform the same. But they fall apart and/or wear really quickly.

My mum always says, buy cheap buy twice.

Benjispruce · 14/08/2019 20:36

I never get that they’re willingly to expose their naivety and stupidity to the nation. Do you think they’re actually stealth bragging?

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/08/2019 20:36

Jeez how many clothes

OP posts:
Namechange3007 · 14/08/2019 20:36

You just don't need tiny, slim, Alex Jones telling you she feels your pain about not shifting the baby weight.

PolkadotLollipop · 14/08/2019 20:37

In some cases, yes, solonely. In others you are just paying a premium for the brand.

jay55 · 14/08/2019 20:38

Yeah I doubt a £15 primark ski jacket would last more than one holiday.

Selling all these clothes would be a full time job.

Solonelywastheballard · 14/08/2019 20:38

@Benjispruce

I have a free standing cooker and it has a top oven/grill and a main oven. That is pretty standard. I use both loads too.

SisterFarAway · 14/08/2019 20:39

To a certain extent I get having double for cleaning products, I usually buy when they are on special offer.

But looking at the amount of unworn clothing Confused How can anyone not know they've got so much rubbish at home?!?

Benjispruce · 14/08/2019 20:40

Oh I have a double oven, I’m talking about 2 separate appliances- it’s a money spinner.

Benjispruce · 14/08/2019 20:40

Anyone know if they get paid to go on this?

mum2jakie · 14/08/2019 20:41

Ridiculous programme. I've just saved myself a shit load of cash by not buying a second washing machine and microwave! Actually I sleep in the nuddy so I've also saved on the price of PJ's! By rights, we should be millionaires...

PolkadotLollipop · 14/08/2019 20:42

The cleaning products are usually on BOGOF, so I would think that much of the UK has duplicates.

PolkadotLollipop · 14/08/2019 20:44

AirBnB? Do they actually live somewhere people want to stay?

jay55 · 14/08/2019 20:45

People stay in Milton Keynes for Silverstone on big race weekends.
