Missed last weeks show, will catch up later but my thoughts on tonight :-
Opening credits, Gregg’s voiceover saying that the celebrity could come from whatever genre but a picture of Gemma Collins appears , he says “we don’t care”. I giggled.

An assault can be pleasant Gregg? Knob.

Anita looks fab, will be for the boot next round.

Spencer and John in it for the long haul . I like John, he could be quite waspish.

Frankie was the right choice to go . Will attempt to watch tomorrow without being interrupted by my child coming downstairs to tell me ever more increasingly inventive reasons why he doesn’t have to sleep.

Much better cooks in the early stages than last week's lot.

The right one went tonight and of those remaining I reckon John and Spencer will likely go through.

Anita Harris is a little twee but she looks absolutely sensational. Hard to believe she was the 'daughter' of Alf Garnett, back in the 60s ffs. Seems like another century ...

Hi ellenanora!

It was a long long day of filming! Our bake was shit (we tried and failed!), we were both finding it all hilarious, we were sat more or less in the front just a few feet from Jo Brand and we were interviewed (along with others!)

I won't give the game away but they have changed Extra Slice in places as it is now an hours show. I am hoping our bit is cut because our bake is soooo embarrassing!

I will need a big glass of Wine and will be watching it through my fingers tonight!

One thing I could not get over was how seriously some there took it! Particularly those sat there on the round tables close to the action.
Also DD and me were Shock at the fact that some of the studio audience sat a long way away from the set brought in intricate bakes that no one was ever going to look at

Oooops sorry ... didn't mean to hijack the thread!

I shall only be able to watch the first half hour of Sleb tonight because of Extra Slice and I'm away next week, although will try and tune in, and I bet it'll be Gemma Collins then who I can't imagine can boil an egg!

I used to hate green beans, then I started using them again, chucking them into casseroles and the like near the end of cooking and they are really nice.
