And no mention of the Daily Mail.

Last night was abit more interesting but yet more young boobs in our faces. She’s so much like Whitney I wonder if Helen thought that?

Did you notice the up the bum sex reference yet again? It was alluded to in the first season a couple of times. I dunno why the writer had to bring it up again.

What I don’t understand is what airport did they land at that Cole could just pull in to? Where is Princeton?

I enjoyed it very much.Amazing how they keep coming up with story lines. It is closely observed,in my opinion the writers are very talented .
I've become fond of the actors and have looked forward to it each week.

NotPennysBoat · 16/08/2018 21:31

Oh ffs, I'm only watching this because it was supposed to be THE LAST SERIES! Now I've got to devote another however many hours of my life to watching this drivel.
The only satisfactory ending now would be for everyone to die, except for Cole who spends his remaining days moodily surfing in a half-naked state.

Clarabell100 · 16/08/2018 22:03

Thought that episode was the best of the series so far. Some actual acting rather than cringey sex scenes. Have to say I wasn’t fussed about Alison dying and preferred the combination of Cole and Noah.

Joshua Jackson is just so hot. As long as he’s in it, I’ll watch it!

Badwifey · 16/08/2018 22:26

I don't think Ben killed her but I do think he was there when she died. I think that maybe they were doing some sort of "pretend drowning" as a tool for Alison to overcome her anxiety and something went wrong.

I do agree it is total rubbish now though. The storyline with the neighbour is just ridiculous... and obvs she'll be pregnant.... snore....

I think JJ is quite underrated as an actor. He has played his part well. It would be a shame to see him settle back into life with Louisa. I hope him and the kid go their separate ways.

Powergower · 16/08/2018 23:35

Terrible terrible show. Really sad they killed off Alison. But as long as Cole is about ill gave to keep watching . Let's face it, 99.9% off the audience only watch it for pacey/ cole. It's been crap since season one ended. I think Ben definitely had something to do with the death, he's shady as fuck.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/08/2018 13:59

Pretend drowning ? Nah I don’t think think

Surely they would have tested water in her lungs and knew it was river sea or tap water

Maybe they had a fight. ALISON fell and banged head. They said head was pretty beaten up

He panics and Assumes she was dead and dumps body in water - only to find she then drowned as wasn’t dead but couldn’t save herself

ihatethecold · 17/08/2018 22:14

I loved this episode.
Was chuckling away at the scene in the motel when Noah was sat honey to Cole.
I think the young student actor is also great.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/08/2018 22:19

YES the gay bedroom married scene was funny

Tho why didn’t the daughter go into next room and leave the student there

Then dad wouldn’t have known

mikado1 · 18/08/2018 21:14

Someone will have seen Alison (and Ben?) He's totally dodge. Didn't see it coming at all but immediately thought 'She's never have left Joanie'. Don't think Cole will go back to Luisa.

lazymum99 · 19/08/2018 18:49

I just looked on tv guide and the last 2 episodes are showing one after another on the same night. 9-11ish

HannahnotAgnes · 19/08/2018 20:20

Just caught up with the most recent 2 episodes. I don't want Alison to have killed herself but it does fit with the narrative of her character.

JJ is fantastic!

EachandEveryone · 20/08/2018 19:39

I think ill treat myself to wine tomorrow night.

Finally caught up, would love to hear both the producers honest version and Ruth's about why she left

Nononannette · 20/08/2018 23:58

I don't see how she would survive the loss of her son, have another child, fight to keep her and then take herself away from that child. Cole needs to stay with Luisa for the sake of the little girl. Feel very angry about it and although I'll watch the end of the series that will certainly be it.

ihatethecold · 21/08/2018 07:27

You do know it’s not real Nononannette?
You sound slightly over invested 🤔

Nononannette · 21/08/2018 07:53

Haha! Yes I do! Has just finished watching it though and has no spoilers so was a bit shocked. It’s not the norm to kill off main characters after 4 series. You should read more telly addicts threads to see how overinvested we can get!

RayneDance · 21/08/2018 08:56

Just wondering if you the writers care about Cole. We have watched him in utter agony for all these series, now we watch him finally come back through, loss of child, wife, brother, home (farm) family break up, to New child, louisa and then suddenly the path clear for Alison.

How much is this man supposed to take? The whole show should be called the endless suffering of Cole.

ihatethecold · 21/08/2018 13:44

OR.... How many women can the serial shagger Noah make out with..
Grin

mikado1 · 21/08/2018 21:08

Here we go....!

mikado1 · 21/08/2018 21:50

Creepy... He is not nice.

Cel982 · 21/08/2018 22:09

Just catching up on last week's episode (the one where they find out Alison has died). That last scene with Noah seeing the waitress in the diner was really affecting; Noah may be an absolute shit, but Dominic West is still a great actor.

mikado1 · 21/08/2018 23:37

Not satisfied with that..

EachandEveryone · 22/08/2018 02:00

Ive only seen the first episode Im going to save the second one for tomorrow.

How awkward was that kissing scene? They didnt look natural at all. I couldnt get beyond her lips.

Badtasteflump · 22/08/2018 09:11

Hmm well not sure about all that - the last episode was okay - it had good moments - mainly surrounding Cole I think. The one before was just weird - I don't get the point of Alison's 'first' version at all. Then the second one, ok, but why a third? Seems a really lazy way of showing the 'accurate' version - and a bit dull to watch too.

And back to the last scene in the final episode with Helen - what was with the weird grin at the end?

I know I'll end up watching the next season but won't enjoy it, if he previous two seasons are anything to go by.

Passthebubbly · 22/08/2018 14:43

Can Alison cook anything other than eggs lol. It’s all she ever makes
