Personally, I hate this storyline so far. As someone who lost a baby who born too early, it hurts. When your baby dies, you pray the Drs are wrong or that there has been a mixup. Of course, that never happens. Unless your in soapland.

@keepondreaming an excellent and very poignant point. It's a horrible, painful storyline. I'm sure your heartache must be shared by so many. So sorry for your loss xx

It’s tasteless storyline, I don’t know what the script writers are thinking, they clearly have no concept of how hurtful this story is to many people.

The thing I don't understand is that the exact same storyline is currently running in Emmerdale with a central character's son, who she believed died at birth, turning out to have survived. Her son entered the show less than two months ago (in a much less hurtful storyline).

How can anyone think it's okay to do exactly the same thing in Corrie?!

So 20 years down the line, are they going to do the same with Michelle and Steve's baby Ruari? Is he going to turn up as a strapping young man after all that pain and grief?
