It won't be long until we get to 1991/92 in Classic Corrie so we'll be able to check what happened. I can't see the point of this storyline (unless it's to get Jim back) - if it's a scam I have to ask why?

It's definitely a scam isn't it? Perhaps Jim has a secret daughter with OW with the same condition as his, and they are going after compensation for the 'swap'? Ridiculously implausible whatever the reason. As PP mentioned, I bet she doesn't sound Australian
