I agree with PP that if Paul picks Laura they will be definite contenders to win. As newbies are encouraged to watch the show before going in Paul must be aware that Laura is a better choice than Alex3.

Feel for Alex3 though. She's got a shit deal. If Dr Alex picks Laura2 then she's out. And if Jack2 picks Laura2 before Dr Alex she will be stuck with Dr Alex knowing that he's really not that into her.

See I'd have thought Laura 1 was the worst choice. I couldn't take the drama and controlling shit. In my view he'd have to be a masochist to pick her,,or be thinking with his dick.

Bluntness - Laura is the better choice in terms of Paul staying in until the end. Laura is an original islander so seen as more worthy of winning in comparison to a newbie. Plus the viewers are starting to feel sorry for her and liking the rawness of her.

Take for example when she had a word with jack about saying he'd go. Normal people would ask why he said that and explore his feelings, she just told him not to. What is the dude supposed to do, decline to answer or lie?

She says she isn't a quitter so stays in relationships and tries to make them work, but her method of doing that is telling the guys what they can and can't do, how to behave, what to say.

Although I think she's very attractive, I couldn't spend five mins with her if I was a bloke. Whatever happens, if he picks her, he's going to get the same treatment as the other blokes, probably when they come out.

Pretty sure Paul will couple up with Laura1 & if so they will be in the top 3. Everyone loves an underdog

I think Alex 3 is beautiful, but she has a very wide neck. Once I noticed this, I could not un-notice it unfortunately.

In terms of staying in Laura may be a better choice for Paul. In terms of an actual relationship Alex3would be a much better choice.

Find Laura really tiresome. Bluntness sums her up perfectly.

She can be intense but I have nothing but respect for her.

But you can't force someone to love you, you can't force someone to be with you and if you were really looking for love, you wouldn't be dictating how someone behaves like that. Love is about respecting and liking the person you're with, not trying to force them to behave a certain way and pretend it's all good to anyone watching.

I really don't see Laura1 being controlling. She just want to be clear and not fobbed off. She has the maturity to be frank. Faking being cool with someone's shitty behaviour never works.

Really hope Paul picks her and that they come top along with Jani.

It must be torture for LobsterSkin to be out in that sun all day long. Really don’t like his manner with some of the girls - make that most of them, actually, if they don’t say what he wants to hear. Good for Dani to tell him that she disapproved and to depart the company. That was a powerful and admirable move on her part.

Bluntness - I don't think Laura has tried to force anything. More than once she's asked the person she was dating to be honest with her and they downplayed what they were doing.

Laura 1 is not controlling for heaven’s sake. I very much hope she comes through.

No idea how they ending of the show is worked out but I want Laura to be there. Jani too but that’s a given. Dani is loud but mockney funny and she has a good heart.

I can’t Shake the feeling that we’re given such a ‘managed’ view of Dani and jack. Not cos of editing but just because of the ‘characters’ they are both playing, jack especially. It’s all so held back and sound bites. You can almost see them thinking ‘this will be the sort of thing we do on our fly on the wall itv2 show’.

Also, I wonder if Dani is a bit gutted she’s never been pursued at any point by anyone else?

The whole love idea is bonkers anyway, given the timescale.

Laura 1 seems to be quite a marmite character, however, I love marmite and I love Laura! I hope she ends up happy!
