TBH most of the guys are very over made up.

Chris and Kem wear loads of makeup and seem gay now.

Doctor Alex is quite feminine.

Oh interesting zampa my analysis of Twitter was almost 100% against Georgia, with lots of 'oh Dani is so wonderful!' comments. I don't mind Dani or Jani even, but the Twitter adoration is a bit OTT (in my opinion).

Didn't Georgia say on one date hat she'd had one 'long-term' relationship but it was from the age of 15 to 18 or something like that? So 3 years but essentially a teenage/school kid relationship which isn't really the same as an adult relationship imo

Apparently there are a few bi girls in there, but producer will not allow two members of the same sex to act on any attraction.
They edit out anything that isn't hetro.

Alex usually sits with his legs together, which looks a bit odd. I think he's spectacularly uncomfortable being on national television in itty bitty swimwear.

And yes Teen relationships do not really count IMO sex or no sex.

Georgia is a very 'young' 20. She has no idea how to handle herself and lacks a lot of self awareness.

I think Laura was saying she knew this was going to happen, and wes was saying to jack, that was me. I took it to insinuate that jack has expressed he likes someone else. I assume one of the new girls.

I also think josh is the first guy to really hurt Georgia. I think she was being honest when she said she saw a future with him and wanted him to meet her parents. He of course was off as soon as he got the chance.

It was very different between wes and Laura, because Laura herself said she knew it wasn't right with wes. Plus she's nearly ten years older and been through break ups before.

Georgia did think it was right with josh and was totally taken in by him. I think he knows he came across badly and that's why he's gunning for her, if he can make her look bad, it may make him look more justified in his behaviour towards her.

@TatianaLarina I know you and I disagree on this, but do you think Alex talked about himself non-stop with the other girls because he was out of his comfort zone? When I’m nervous and uncomfortable I talk incessentantly and I get a sort of ear buzz that means I can’t really hear what others are saying in reply. Maybe he was different with Alex because they had more to talk about by way of reciprocal conversation (cf the Grace convos and Ellie’s cringey comment about putting people down). I also don’t think he really liked the other girls as much as he likes Alex. It must be hard when you have nothing in common with prospective partners, but know you need to couple up to stay in.

I don’t think Georgia is acting the way she does because she’s 20 (as someone else said lots of them are in that age bracket). I think she’s a spoilt brat pure and simple with MASSIVE confidence. Over-inflated sense of self-worth which is why she can’t take any advice/criticism. If she was 24 or 34 she would still be the same. Also I don’t get this ‘20 is so young’ bollox - you can tell those types at a very early age and 20 isn’t 13 ffs!! We all remember those types at school - even from primary school. Remember she is very pretty with perfect hair and perfect figure aswell. Put that and her personality together and I think she would have been an awful addition to a classroom!!

Someone posted Georgias little intro thing that they show before they go onto the show and she said she has cheated but it wasnt a serious relationship so it doesnt count.
Maybe Josh felt the same?

To be fair, I'm not sure if go for Laura either after watching her for 6 weeks. I mean, I do like her, but I don't think I'd date her. She is quite fatalistic.

Shame though, as he's just the perfect age for her.

She actually thought Josh was into her more than a few kisses and flirts.

I would hate to be friends with her as she is the opposite of down to earth.

I’m watching series 2 and it all just feels much more natural. Partly the layout of the villa I think as it seems to have more smaller areas/nooks and crannies (and smoking area of course) where just a couple of islanders chat and it feels more private (they discuss other islanders constantly) whereas in this year’s villa they all sit around listening in if others are having a supposedly private chat. They just talk rather than any “can we have a chat over here please” business. They also discuss who they might recouple with and agree in advance.

I really liked Georgia at first but oh my god I actually can't believe her now. She would drive me round the bend.

I bet there are relationships going on in there that we know nothing about.

To be fair we were all twenty once and were prone to a bit of that. I'm not sure my twenty year old self would have come over well televised either. She is very confident yes, and I admire that, but I don't think she's handling what's been thrown at her well at all.

It's a shame if carpenter dude goes after Alexandra. I do think Laura Is very attractive, but she does tend to like them young and is quite emotionally unstable as well as very needy, which is seldom a turn on for folks.

I think it would work better if everyone had to couple up with a different person each week.
