I think it's also because a lot of people think Laura looks much older than 29. Tbh I agree, she's really beautiful but she could pass as late 30s easily.

I do think there's generally a big difference in maturity with early 20s and late 20s. Is this new Paul the first 30-something islander this series? I think it would have been better with a few more in this age bracket.

Jack2 would irritate the life out of me with that bloody accent! He may be fit (personally I don’t think so) but like D Beckham as soon as he starts talking it puts me off, Laura (even with all her ‘issues’)is far too mature for J2. Paul is gorgeously fit, and I think him and Laura would be right together.

The four fuckers should be called the four smuggers, the smugness of their ‘perfect’ relationships makes me sick. Karma is around the cornerHmm

im 29 and notoffended by the age comments but thats because its clear that laura looks much much older. rather than thinking 29 is old.

"You've had your career". Said to a 29 year old single woman, with no children. I can't decide if ITV showed that to prove that Jack 2 is a massive dick or because they genuinely believe that shit.

I don't really get why Wes and Josh the Twats are so keen so see their initial get togethers fucked over. I think Wes thinks he was only in the last 3 this week because people don't like Megan instead of realising we're seeing every dick thing he says. And there are many....

You really see how Instagram is not real life watching this show. If you go to most of the islanders Instagram, they look a million times better in their Instagram photos than in real life. Especially that new brunette one. Quite refreshing really. What looks amazing in an Insta photo looks quite ordinary or plastic in reality.

Laura has that age old problem of treating men like wet bars of soap. If you hold on too tight you lose your grip. She needs to calm it down. Seriously some CBT would help her in real life. She needs to be able to stop the wild panicky thoughts in her head from dictating her behaviour. I have massive empathy for her though, I really don't think she can control her anxiety around men and rejection. I have anxiety which I am slowly learning to control and look back and cringe at some of my past actions caused by irrational, uncontrolled and anxious thinking.

Wes and Josh are behaving like your typical cheating male. Make the victim look like and feel like the lunatic to justify your behaviour to both yourself and others. Difficult to watch. From Josh's history at least, it looks like a pattern he has played over and over again.

I actually think Jack2 is a.nice guy. He's just not very articulate so from what we saw he stumbled his way through breaking uo with her. I think he felt genuinely sorry for what he was doing it but he just wasn't feeling it with Laura so why should he stay with her. A

I thought Laura's reaction to Dani about getting to know the carpenter guy a bit more was a bit weird. She seems to get annoyed if anyone highlights the issues in the relationship as though she cant handle the truth.

I wonder if she only like younger guys.

I'm strongly looking forward to when the four fuckers get out of the villa and find out the truth about each other. Caz might struggle to look so smug when joshs girlfriend shows up and asks him if he had a good time in Russia at the World Cup Grin.
People say Jani are smug but I don't see that at all-I just think they seem happy.But those four...ugh.

And I think Laura deserves better. She handled herself well during that conversation. I think she asked jack 2 about it earlier because she knew something was up, and again later because she still knew something was and that he wasn't being Honest. And that's fair enough.

I can't even think about Georgia anymore. Just enough already.

Yes. It's one of many times where someone has said something totally non offensive and she had got disproportionally cross about it. I couldn't be doing with that, my SIL is like it and it's bloody exhausting.

I don't think Laura should win.

She's cling onto these guys knowing it wasn't right. She openly admitted she knew it was not right with wes but stayed in it. It's love Island, not hang onto a bloke for dear life Island.

In addition She's not treated any Male she's in a relationship with well, she becomes needy, demanding and controlling. It's not malicious but it is needy demanding and controlling. Poor wes said he was even scared of saying the wrong thing, or she'd have a go.

You've got to respect the other person in a relationship, not make it all about your wants and needs, and you've got to care about their feelings, Laura has demonstrated with both boys it was all about her. She acted like she didn't even like them most of the time. It was being in a relationship for the sake of it.

Whilst she was behaving like that with wes and jack,,neither bloke had done anything wrong. Yes they eventually flipped her over and went with others, but for the days they were enduring it, they hadn't done anything wrong, it was all about Laura and her treatment of them. At times they both looked scared of her.

And yeah I agree, the issue isn't her actual age, it's she looks so much older than the others that's the issue, she even looks older than carpenter Paul.

I think Laura's reaction to Dani saying she should get together with Paul is because of the constant referral to her age. It's quite obvious in the one hour we see that Laura's age is always harped on about. No wonder she's like she is when she has all these younger islanders patronising her about being older. Why should she fancy Paul just because he's the only one near to her age? It's like saying you have to wear cardigans or take up knitting just because your older. Out of all the men Paul is the only "older" man, LI would have been much more interesting with some older islanders who had some actual life experience rather than all these wannabies who want an easy route to success.

I think Laura is beautiful, she’s obviously been very hurt in her past and struggles to do things differently. The ‘boys’ she has been with in the villa, I think for all of their niceness and maturity, have still not been able to ‘manage’ her issues. I think she may have fared better with someone like Eyal, as he appeared to have a lot of empathy.

I do really feel for Laura, as she does seem to struggle wit relationships. I don’t think her time in the villa has done her any favours to be honest, self esteem must be on the floor.

I hope The smuggers will look back on their behaviour in years to come, and be ashamed. Considering Megan was bullied at school, she’s not approached this with empathy has she?!

I feel sorry for Laura too. I wonder if what has played out in the villa is typical for how all her relationships end? So they start off so promising but gradually lose interest, as she desperately tries to convince herself that they're not, or that she can make it right if she tries harder.

It is very sad to watch actually and I think she has been very dignified. It can't be good for your self esteem, not just being dumped but also watching other guys professing love for their partners, and the references to her age. I think she justgoes for the wrong guys personally.

And poor Alex3. What a shame she had her pick of three boys and went for Alex, who is now losing interest.

But I kind of admire him for realising it's not working for him and being honest about it. I don't think we should expect him to be grateful someone showed an interest in him at last. I think a lot of people in his position would have decided to fake it for ten days to get to the final. In fact, that's probably what a lot of them are doing.

He's in a risky position now though, and looks likely to end up with no one again. I still think him and Laura would be a good friendship couple.

I think Laura has already said she's not into Paul, but I'm not sure if that was because she was trying to hold onto jack so not considering it. I'm also not sure Paul is into her, as he will have seen the behaviour watching the show.

I don't know who picks who this time though.

As much as I don't like Laura's behaviour in relationships and don't condone it, I don't think it's malicious, and I do feel sorry for her. She knows when it's over. She knew with wes, she knew, let's be honest, with jack, but she hangs on for as long as possible, getting more and more controlling, instead of saying "yeah this doesn't work, let's be friends and move on".

Dani was right, she wants to be in a relationship and settle down. The issue is it can't just be any relationship for the sake of it, and it's not gonna be with some 20/22 year old lad who wants to have fun.

The poster who said she flips straight past the heady exciting new relationship part and moves into 3 years down the line was right. She knows it doesn't work, they know it, the villa contestants know it, and we all know it. But instead of being mature and acting with dignity she holds on tighter and tighter, forcing them to be the one who ends it.

It's really unhealthy and she shouldn't be in there, she's not doing herself any favours.

I think Laura is lovely & seems v honest, fun & genuine.
I think she starts to question everything because she’s not daft & can deffo pick up the change in the boys approach to her yet they deny anything is different.
I think she was annoyed with Dani as she was suggesting she looked good with Paul after one conversation & was suggesting they get together when Laura wouldn’t want to flirt with someone else whilst trying to make it work with Jack.

If LI keeps going then in a few years there will be 4 Amelias, 2 Islas, 3 Avas and 4 Alfies.
