Anybody looked at Pete's instagram, bloody norah he is one hot tamale!

ellenanora5 · 20/07/2018 17:01

I'm caught up now, Flava fave duo are a pain in the arse, the younger one is whiny and moany and quite immature, she seemed to sulk a lot when Roula made suggestions, I laughed when she said "this won't be on camera" and there we all were listening to it, at least the younger one had the cop on to say "not at the table".

The sister aren't very pleasant themselves but they should have said nothing and let the other two dig a bigger hole for themselves.

I have to say their table manners leave a lot to be desired, I'd say the other contestants are mortified with their behaviour.

The two mums are lovely but jesus four hours for the starter, I'd have been chewing the table.

I can't believe Pete and Manu sat there for that long, wonder where they go, for a burger probably.

So is tonight the man who can't cook, that should be interesting Smile

StripySocksAndDocs · 20/07/2018 19:36

I like tonight's couple, bit I think they haven't a hope. He freely admits he can't cook. But worse he seems to lack cop on too.

Can't tolerate the two nasty ones (we need a nickname STAT!

Has anyone been expelled from.MKR before? If not, I'd like them to be the first.

Roula soooo reminds me of someone.... but I don’t know who!?

StripySocksAndDocs · 20/07/2018 20:05

Well that's a shame.

I'd have loved for them to have beaten pointy and whiney, or even have the same score. Unrealistic hope though!!! They were poor.

HesterMacaulay · 20/07/2018 20:26

One minute R is saying that they will remember that half hearted apology when scoring the blonde sisters' meal. And the next, the other R says that she will be annoyed if the others score tonight's couple on the basis of their personalities .....They so consumed by nastiness!

Beaverhausen · 20/07/2018 21:22

They are just horrid little women, look the fake sisters are no better but I would take them over Ratchet and Ratchet anyday.

What is that cartoon called again @StripySocksAndDocks - Phineas and Ferb! lol

Beaverhausen · 20/07/2018 21:23

I really felt for Ash and Matty but she knew he had no clue about cooking so she can not blame him, at least he is showing initiative and watching youtube video's and swotting up on it all. I really like them as a couple but I do not think they will make it through sadly :(.

Weedsnseeds1 · 20/07/2018 21:57

Roula reminds me of a slimmer, female Gru, youngest

TechnicalSergeantGarp · 20/07/2018 22:03

Only the pudding was even nearly up to scratch. Burger and salad was a rubbish menu.

youngestisapsycho · 20/07/2018 23:02

Lol @ Weeds!

ellenanora5 · 21/07/2018 17:16

Bit of disaster last night, but he hadn't a clue what to do, she should have been practising with him before their turn came, mind you I'm raging they knocked the other pair off the bottom.

We definitely need a nickname for those two, how about the Ranty Ravers, Ructions and Rackett, Hinge and Bracket (for those old enough to remember them)

Or we could stick with the traditional " two nasty bitches".

Grin
Yumyumpigs · 21/07/2018 20:41

Ha ha caught up last night. Flava flave hilarious. They're so nasty. I quite like the duck sisters. They're a bit unpleasant but openly so like it.

The calamari salad!! What was that, !?!?!

And burgers/sliders ... nope love a really good burger and fries but that wasn't it!

StripySocksAndDocs · 23/07/2018 20:15

Those two, hideous women. Nasty, bitchy and plain rotton.

Proper loath them. The #?@* (can't think of an insulting enough name to befit them).

Stuss and Steve; feel like they can actually cook very well. So tonight was disappointing. Think Stuss overdid the laidbackness, to the point he undermine Steve actions that'd save it all.

Though (depending on 'the twist') they could do well in a cook off. Hopefully.

OP posts:
Beaverhausen · 23/07/2018 23:45

Tonight was a total disaster, I think Stuss played to the cameras a bit too much and Steve was like a whiny housewife. I guess lets see how they fair against Ash and Matty.

youngestisapsycho · 24/07/2018 16:32

DOnt understand own they cook stuff? They only start cooking the mains after the starters have been served? That lamb kleftiko could have been cooking for hours?

youngestisapsycho · 24/07/2018 16:44

I really want some baklava now!

nightnurse66 · 24/07/2018 18:00

Just binged watched all episodes so far this afternoon.
Can't wait for pouty sisters night.

HesterMacaulay · 24/07/2018 18:17

I can't make sense of the timings either youngestisapyscho Confused

And I'm always amazed at how many don't seem to have a clear plan/timetable of what they are doing . The challenges of cooking for the large numbers seem to surprise them!

And what happens if you live in a flat or tiny house? Both because of size of kitchen and space to host.

Stuss was a liability last night.

And I'm so disappointed the nasties are out of the bottom 2 Angry

StripySocksAndDocs · 24/07/2018 19:20

The filming must be edited, in the sense it mixes up when the do things. It has to be doesn't it? Stuss and Steve mentioned either before guest arrival or judge arrival they had to get the lamb on didn't they? Least I've a vague memory of them saying something about it, then they weren't show putting it in the oven til much later.

And what happens if you live in a flat or tiny house? Both because of size of kitchen and space to host.

Possibly houses in Australia are bigger on average (they all do seem to have a lot of room!!). Though there's the advantage of the weather and being able to have a marquee. I'm sure on year a couple lived in a flat a rented a place.

Though I saw an episode of the UK one once, and it seems to be on a dedicated MKR house

OP posts:
HesterMacaulay · 24/07/2018 19:51

I lived in Sydney for a year and there are lots of small houses which made me think. I lived in an old terraced house with a tiny galley kitchen and back yard.
Must be harder if you have to cook in an unfamiliar kitchen if they do provide a venue.

StripySocksAndDocs · 24/07/2018 20:25

Ha! That's certainly not the impression it gives. Mind you a high proportion of the kitchens seems new and the ovens spotless.

OP posts:
Weedsnseeds1 · 24/07/2018 22:05

It's the sudden death cook off that hats me
Contestants " we're doing slow cooked shoulder if pork, it normally takes 8 hours, so we're taking a bit of a risk,"
Me ( hurling remote at TV) " well why fucking cook it when you have two hours, twats?"
Judges "it's not well cooked, to be honest..."
Me ( frothing at mouth) " I told you!!"
OH, who is an Australian duel national, claims he never saw the appeal, even though it's the top rating show over there, until he got to watch me watching MKR!
