I'm just at the duck part (watching 'live'; ads are annoying!) This doesn't look good.

The Russians criticised every course then gave them a 9?!

But the ruskies always do that they critique the food to high heaven but have always scored well. But their faces when the scores came out.

I have to say I have not been a fan of the sisters and was hoping they would crash and burn due to their arrogance. But hey ho 3 more couples left.

@stripysocksanddocs but did Sonja not call her a snake too. And then called her Olga the Vulgar at their dinner. She is a nasty piece of work would love to see her in action agains R&R and the Botched twins.

Yeah, that's what I mean. There's them lecturing Olga about women tearing women down when that's what they do. Especially at the Russians' dinner: the way the were putting them down - they were quite confident in their snagging too weren't they, they are fully convinced the rest of the table would agree.

I want them to be awful at their restaurant and end up right at the bottom. But you're right it'd be great to see them up against R&R and the Botched twins.

The cooking and scoring is much better this round, I think Olga and Valeria shot themselves in the foot by giving a nine to the sisters, they are very critical but seem to be scoring on the effort that goes into the food, not scoring at all on whether they like it or not, but I suppose that's the way it should be.

The Jordanians need to get over themselves.

Henry must be absolutely mortified with all the attention he's been getting, he certainly looks it.

I'm not too keen on the sisters either, but I've found from watching it over the years that asian food always goes down well, especially with Pete.

Was the scene where Manu orders people to leave the table aired?
I watched the first round of instant restaurants but think I may have missed it?

You haven't missed it. I went back and rewatche date start of episode 1 and it looks like it was an elimination round. Manu is wearing a white tux.

Wonder who will be at the table for the elimation round. If it's the first set then there'll be two fewer dishes (than the first elimation round) to prepare won't there?

If it's the second lot it'll be the same as the instant restaurants (but with fewer dishes) so unlikely.

My money is on the nasty friends, though the sisters are a very good bet.

How do you think the Jordanians will do tomorrow, as brilliant as they think they are?

This elimination should be round 1 judging bottom of round 2. Nasty friends are there and there was a second clip on a later episode that had them standing up shouting the odds. I think I spotted the truffle farmers (sister is a ledge) so it might be a mixed group??? That means there'll be a third round or another round using elimination house.

They didn't shop in Coles, is that legal!?! 😱😲

Just started to watch the Jordanians episode

Do not like the Jordanians but have to say their food looked delish.

Was very disappointed with Pat and Louisa they just did not put the effort in or seem too bothered by it.

It really did look good didn't it.

But what sort of mad barbecue coals did they have? Disappeared in no time, and then the new ones got red hot in less time.

Yes the kick out is not until very late in the series.
It was also very much advertised from day one here too so much so that by the time it happened you were very much over it.

Jordanians food scored well, a bit disappointed in that . I don’t hunk I’d have eaten any of the courses though. Raw meat nope, lamb nope, pasta looking pud might have nibbled it a bit.

I was hoping they would crash and burn but as soon as Pete said "have nothing nice to say etc" and it went to a break I knew it was going to be a ten,

I didn't like the look of their food but fair play they could live up to their big talk.

The mother and daughter didn't take it seriously enough, all the chat about the emojis and how cool and down with the kids the mother is seemed to distract them from everything else.

Henrys sister is the best, I'd love them to win.

Yes I suspect when the big row happens will all be fed up waiting for it.

Does Louisa look different? I thought when they were cooking in their instant restaurant she look different. Now she does again. I am confused.

Also I don't really care who goes. I'm usually a bit fan of mother/daughter pairs, but not these two. Not too pushed on military pair either. Both menus (bar the pineapple upside down cake) sound good though. Both starters look really nice.

My favourite couple is Anna and Henry, by a country mile.

Oh I forgot they were making pie. I take back the bit were I said I like both menus. Don't like pie

Also they messed up the veal.
