I’ve binge watched three episodes and, while I grew to like the duck sisters, I’m kind of glad Olga and Valeria stayed in. The editing, though, in the run up to their ultimate home restaurant made it look as though they served complete tongues to the diners! I thought they were dead certs to go after seeing those clips, so was relieved they had actually sliced them up-though they’d have been better served encased in the pastry a la tradition, as Manu pointed out.
Emily should have entered Masterchef-that way, she’d have been able to do everything herself, as she obviously has little fate in Hat’s ability despite being “so proud” of him in every episode.

I don’t think it’s all her. He does leave things too late. I think they’re both infuriating. Watching them cook against Stazzy was like polar opposites.

Wait, has she only been 'So proud' when he's done what told to?

He's too sure of his superb ability and puts a lot of efgort into being so laid back. She's one megs stress bunny. It's odd they become a couple and ended up madly in love.

Think my dislike of them has been concentrated since we lost the other contestants I dislikes. Pete seems oddly in love with them. Colin seems less sure.

I really hope they don’t win. I’m starting to worry...

I would be the same as Emily. Alex far too laid back and he knows how much it stresses her out. It seems deliberate now.

Twit and Hat are the one couple I really hope won’t win. Between his running commentaries and her tears and tantrums they really annoy me. I originally thought it’d be Henry and Anna, once the Jordanian queens were thrown out, but now it looks wide open. Josh and Nic seem to have an advantage though! They just cook Italian every time!

Noooooooooo! OMG! Can you imagine a Kim and Suong, Twit and Hat Final!?! How bloody stressful!

I could easily have given Emily a shake yesterday. Calm down woman!

Am I the only one who hates it when they refer to the protein on the plate, how to cook the protein, etc. It’s meat!

I hate it when they call dishes or courses meals. They’ve not done it too much this year but in previous series there was a lot of “we’ve got to make 3 meals” on a three course challenge.

Or “our last meal is profiteroles”

Well after tonight’s result with only one semi final spot left....I’m torn!
So we have the Russians, Henry and Anna and Stella and Jazzey....
Once upon a time i would have said O&V and H&A would get to round 2 - but S&J did damn well tonight....
I think the Russians may have peeked too soon...they stood out at then start but don’t seem to have developed much whereas a lot of the others who have had more disasters and lower scores have upped their game and are now on a level playing field, meaning Olga and Valeria don’t stand out anymore. Personally I would have preferred them to get through over Twat and Hat as I think they are genuinely better cooks than them. I really am stuck between these last 3.

Yes it’s gojng to be close but based on the these last few eps I thibk stella and Jazzey have done the best.

But I’d don’t mind any of the last 3 teams.

I really hope Stella and Jazzey get through. They have developed so much in this competition. They have also shown Emily how to deal with stress and set backs. Do you remember Emily weeping and wailing because they were in elimination more than once "I can't go back there " boo hoo.

Yes I agree @HesterMacaulay. But I really like Henry and Anna too - tho they don't seem to be growing. Stella and Jazzy have been really professional and fair throughout and are also very funny

Yesterday's challenge was tough. Two hours for a three course. They all looked lovely - well the Russian no so much, but not too bad. Emily would not have coped with it. She would have freaked out within five minutes.

I'm very disappointed with the first two in the final. One couple do only one cuisine, the others. The other couple just not likeable.

Kim and Soung did well, all dishes having to have a food Asian food doesn't feature. Out of the three currently in the final I'd like them to win.

I'd love Anna and Henry to get through. Think they won't though. So I'm hoping for Stella and Jazzy.

Stella and Jazzey are really impressing me and have a wider breadth than the Italian brothers and Kim and Suong. They show Emily up with their calmness and humour and I love their relationship.
Emily would have shit it with the time challenge, they are very lucky to have to through to the final four.

They have come a close second loads and I really want them in the final four.

The twat in the hat only knows how to cook steak.

I’d really like Stella and Jazzy to go through, they’ve made great progress. Henry and Anna, as lovely as they are, have sort of stalled.

Isn’t Hat utterly amazing at cooking seafood? Thought it was him that knew more about cooking seafood that anyone else on the planet.

Phew finally caught up with it all

I'm raging hat and twat are through to semis, she is a pain in the arse, and the crying is tiresome, do they think they are the only ones who want it!!! god knows they mention it often enough.

I'm not keen on Kim and Suong really but they do work bloody hard.

I thought Olga and Valeria would have gone through by now.

Stella and Jazzey are the most improved and they are really likeable

Love Henry and Anna but I think their time is nearly over, hopefully I'm wrong though.

I do not want the brothers or hat and his twat to win, no way.

If Henry and Anna don't win I'm hoping it will be Stella and Jazzey, but won't mind if Olga and Valeria win.

It must take forever to film the series.

Omg, Henry and Anna were a bit pants tonight. I think the calls of “cheat” were a bit harsh. It’s not like the Russians bought in a pre roasted duck.

Fabulous result though.

Will we have all the annoying taster chef guests from here on out now?

I'm happy with the outcome given the 3 pairs left.
But I couldn't help thinking that the 3 teams already through would have really struggled with that challenge!

Just caught up. Not sure I'm ever going to get over my sadness of Henry and Anna going.

I don't like it when couples get through and miss many challenges. There were challenges there that Twit and Hat and Mums would have failed at. It's been so long since the Italian brothers have cooked I'm not sure I can say if they'd have coped.

Final on Thursday is a disaster!!! Work is mental, won't get in till 7, then i've to go out the house for a presentation at 8.30 till whenever. Work again the next early morning. Can't watch till Friday afternoon at the earliest. Noooooooo!!
