I love it too. If I just want to watch something purely about creating amazing food I watch great British menu or master chef. I enjoy the does of bitching and character development but it’s not so off the food that it turns into come dine with me.

I’ve finally caught up so I can actually read this thread again! So glad S&H have gone-and what’s under Alex’s hat was finally revealed. Nothing more exciting than hair, alas. I really hope the Russians stay in. Is it only me or are they getting better looking and dressing better each episode??
Emily is an annoying little gnat. While she constantly tells Alex how proud she is of him, she is for ever losing it and berating him in the kitchen during prep. The sisters will probably be gone, though in fairness to them, they score fairly despite being at the bottom of the leaderboard. Those two obnoxious Jordanian self-styled queens could have learned a thing or two from them.

Emily just repeats back either Pete or Manu's critiques as applicable. Tonight's was verbatim

Nic did all the heavy lifting tonight. He sorted cheese sauce for 35 mins FFS. They want to open a gelato shop and their ice cream was icy.

I can't see Vulgar and Malaria going.

Was away from Friday so I caught up on this last night. I think it will be Jess and Emma at the bottom which is a shame as I actually really like them now. They don’t take themselves too seriously and laugh at themselves. It will be interesting to see how olga and Valeria do tonight. I think they are likely to do well.

Yeah, I think even if the Russians have a tough time they understand food a lot better than the sisters.

At least we’ll see them again at the Final when they all come back to cheer them on (not S+H I hope!).

I think it was the right thing for Jess and Emma to go. Olga and Valeria are definitely the better cooks.

Well ...Jess and Emma were so rude tonight. I'm glad they have gone. The Russians are definitely better cooks and (bizarrely) keen to cook what they like not what other people will like ....

But I thought it was a frustrating episode. The way it was edited, it seemed like it really was a close call and perhaps O and V might go. But obviously that was not the case at all, as they got some 10s from the judges and ended up 2nd on the leader board.

It'll be interesting see what the format is for the last stage.

Jess and Emma were a bit rude last night, but most of it was funny.

I’m not sure I’d have eaten anything other than dessert at the Russians house. Not a big offal eater, and the tongue looked grotesque. I also love gherkins, but not ina soup. I loved how they covered their ice cream with almonds and it looked perfect.

I’m guessing everyone will cook at HQ from here on out but different challenges and advantages like more time in the store room and choosing who gets what protein again etc.

Can’t be that much longer to go though.

I think even if I hadnt liked the Russians food I would have scored them higher just to beat Jess & Emma and get rid of them!

I think there are more contenders to win than in previous years?

I’m liking this round. It will be interesting to see if their dishes are better than the previous ones.

Cooking a previous contestants dish is genius. Think the time constraints are too much this series though.

It looked like Emily had been crying at the end of the episode. Anna is a hoot, I love her commentary.

The Reuben sandwich looked shit. The Russian's food might taste amazing but it looks rubbish.

Funny the showed a lot if people calling out Emily.

I love Stella and Jazzy. Henry clearly likes them but more than friends? Definitely the most likely of all his suitors 😂

I really hope that the Hats don’t get through but I’m worried we’re going to see them battle a few times. At least if the had got through today we wouldn’t have to see them cook for a few eps (although they might be lurking in the balcony commentating).

In the first part did she just do beans and the mash? Why couldn’t she put the steaks on when she wanted them on? How does she manage to cook at home? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Shite. I wanted Stella and Jazzey to go through. Emily crying really gets on my tits. I think the rest of the contestants think she's a problem. Alex is the equivalent of a DH that decides to mow the lawn, sort the shed out and do a poo 15 mins before the family is due to leave for a wedding. Even Manu told him he was leaving it too late to.plate. I'd say that Emily should do the protein herself but Alex you have one job. He knows she's stressed that they plate up so late but doesn't give a shit. Knobhead
