I’m starting to feel sorry for Meghan. The men like her for the wrong reasons, and she knows it, but it’s almost as if she feels compelled to live up to their expectations and just go along with who they want her to be

Her interactions with all the men so far have been utterly joyless

Just finished. Thought Megan was very honest talking to Samira. Really interesting that she knows exactly what they see in her and what plenty on here have been saying too. But also what she and Dani said about Samira was what we’d been saying too.

It’s such a shame to see Samira like that despite us all seeing it happen.

I really hope they let Samira and Georgia know with a pic of the boys kissing or something, not to hurt them but to give them a chance to stay.

If two girls leave from this, after continual girl axings (still not a single elimination night that we haven’t lost a girl) it’s ridiculous. They’re giving these sleezy boys power and status. And here all the other shows are celebrating the centenary of women voting. I’m getting quite angry about it!

Don't they have to couple with previous partner or new partner and Wes is still officially with Laura so he can't choose to couple with Megan. There will be a lot of second guessing going on.

Those who've watched previous series, how will recoupling work?

@Princess, you are right, forgot he is still officially coupled up with Laura!

Last year, it worked like this:
So if laura decided to recouple with a new boy, and wes does not select a new girl - Wes will be dumped from the island.

If Laura doesn't pick a new boy and Wes comes back with a girl, she'd be dumped.

If both recoupled - both would stay

If neither did - they'd stay together

I've just seen the pics of Megan allegedly taking drugs, I would imagine if it's proved she will be removed from the show

Yes, I actually quite like her weirdly, she reminds me of a friend I had at school who had no sense of self at all. She's behaved appallingly and I'm not defending that but I wish she'd had the sense not to make herself look so easy on TV. It's like she thinks sex is all she has.

i don't think Alex the lobster is that much less awkward with Charlie. He''s coming across as quite patronising to me, with predictable comments about her accent and farmers etc.

It's really grating on me the way he's trying to change his accent as well. Saying mate, sick, and dropping his "h"s etc. Reminds me of Tony Blair when he wanted to sound down with the kids.

I'm sure Samira knows that in real life she'd be bored rigid by all the blokes in there within a couple of weeks. But she wants to play the game, and is pissed off, as we are, by how unfair life can be. Watching grown men drool over a plasticised vacuous woman is depressing viewing. Megan's only pleasure in being with a man seems to be that she's their choice.

Can I be honest ? I don’t see the appeal with Megan. When she first entered the villa, my first thought wasn’t “Oh, she’s pretty”, it was “Hmm, she has nice hair and looks like she’s from Albania”.

So much sadness in that episode. Samira so tearful - dammit - and Megan being decent. And Georgia so loyal, as ever, and that horrible lightweight, Josh, being so vile and such a rat.
The one bright spot was watching Wes dishing out advice, not knowing that he had already been dismissed by Megan.

That was actually really painful to watch, Samira and Frankie's chat. She thought she was 'pulling him for a chat' to see if they could have a spark, and he thought they were talking as if it was a forgone conclusion that Samira is like one of the lads and started prattling on about Megan, not even considering that Samira was showing interest.

Hope it was Samira kissing. Definitely don’t think it was Jack 1.
