I think Georgia and Samira will stay faithful but that Josh and Sam may stray. Hence why Georgia an samira are most at risk.

I am a white, but even I know that Samira is not being picked because she is black.
Even my sixteen year old daughter and her friends think that the men are not choosing Samira because of her colour.
As I have said previously, Samira is the best looking out of the lot imho.
I suppose that in real life she would attract a lot of attention from men of all races.
I have seen many beautiful black women with very intelligent , accomplished white men.
However, generally the men in Love Island are usually quite chavvy and generally not confident enough to think outside the box.
If Samira had been white , with that goofy , often awkward manner , posters would have said that she was adorable , as she was different from the other women in the house. The same posters now use her goofiness to explain why she hasn’t been picked.
It appears that black females are held to a different standard and it takes a trashy show such as Love Island for this to be recognised

Ignoring the fa t that he’s unlikely to have said this if she were a boy, I think he has a point that Dani shows you don’t have to put out right away but I’m not sure Jack would have been so patient of he didn’t know who her dad was.

personally I think Samira is absolutely stunning, shes good a nice personality and I LOVE her goofiness/awkwardness.

That stats are that the VAST majority of mixed race couples are a white woman with a black/asian/mixed race man. IT just seems to happen less often the other way round. I'm not sure it's racist as such, but it is sad.

Im another that thinks (knows) samira isnt being picked because shes black. I watched a show once (wish i could remember the name) about race and dating, and black women came off as men thinking they were the least attractive compared to other races.

Samira was sat there whilst they were picking (not sure why someone said she wasnt?) its nothing to do with her "being a snake" megan is a massive bitch yet was in everyones top 3. Dani doesnt flirt and was still picked.

Call her? im not saying they are "racist" but i am saying that is the reason.

There's so much pressure on black women to look more Caucasian - hair relaxing, skin lightening, nose slimming ... Western society has taken the position that white women are the default setting for attractiveness. Samira not being picked isn't a racist act in itself but it does represent the racist social conditioning that is present in our society.

Anyway, am I the only one who thought Laura's "forgiveness" of Megan Wes a bit too "cool girl"? I think she should have been angrier for longer. Having said that, I can also see why she would need to deal with it in this way for her own sanity in the villa.

First look, Josh is a fool. Georgia is popular because she has shown herself to be a good person. And shitting on popular lovely people never works out well.

Looking at Charlie the girl's insta page she seems quite a nice, normal girl. Not sure she's Alex's intellectual equal but I guess we'll see. Apparently they had thousands of applicants so I don't know why they couldn't choose slightly more intellectual girls.

If producers want Georgia to stay they will send a postcard (they did this last year) with a pic of Josh cuddling up to Kaz or even kissing her.

Alex did say he wasn't interested in his supposed equal intellectual.

I agree that Samira is incredibly beautiful and this is absolutely a race issue. It is so obvious, and its starting to make me feel a bit uncomfortable actually, compared to the likes of ellie (who yes is very 'pretty') but compared to such a stunner like Samira (hello bone structure o die for and incredible almond shape eyes) she is very 'next door' type of girl

I love Samira's style. Some of the outfits she has worn she has looked absolutely stunning - I am not sure she realises how beautiful she actually is because she carries off what she wears effortlessly (which you can't say for everyone else).

The all fancying Meghan thing is thoroughly depressing. She's basically a boy's porno dream fgs!

And on the topic of skin.... Laura's is not ok! I can barley look. She is a very high risk of skin cancer being such a fair skin type, there is a Fitzpatrick scale and she would be like 0.

That is why she is getting rings of white around the eyes because she's in sunglasses and all those freckles are new ones. My dermatologist says even one new mole should be 'watched' and she is literally covered in pigmentation and freckles that have got more prominent as the weeks go by.

We despair of Alex but to be honest hell just lobster and a few weeks in doors again and he'll probably just look tanned. But Laura's skin is so fucked.
