Turns out if you imprison someone, rape them repeatedly, silence them and then cut out their toungue for speaking out, they end up hating you and want to blow you up.

I think Fred will survive but I bet Nick's real Commander dies. I don't know why I think that, other than that to have Fred die would change the household, and to have Nick leave would change the household, and I don't think they will do that yet. June and Nick will still be trapped.

I think there must be something wrong with me. Quite a lot happened in tonight’s episode but its left me feeling pretty “meh” throughout. I usually get quite affected by THT but tonight it’s having no effect on me. Other than the rape of Eden which was just horrific. And the song at the end was great but otherwise, nothing. Have I been desensitised to it all?

I don’t want Fred to be dead. I want him to have lost half his face, unable to speak, walk, feed himself and wipe his arse. And serena will have to nurse him for the rest of her days. They deserve that.

Also just thinking I suppose they only have limited doctors etc and will be instructed to save the commanders first, handmaids last

Good call about Fred surviving but being severely disabled. I don't know how Gilead treats disabled people but surely if he was unable to carry out his commander role he would loose his job and therefore his power. Maybe even have his pregnant handmaid taken from him?

Yes Zibbidoo I want to see Fred completely incapacitated with Serena forced to nurse him. Would they still be allowed a baby?

MrStark I remember "Mrs Glen" being kind and the handmaid saying they rarely carried out the "ceremony", so they could secretly be May Day? It would make sense, as how else would she get fitted out with the bomb/vest?

I found this episode too close to home with what's going on in the US, so quite chilling to think how it all happened to become Gilead

And she was recently asked to leave a restaurant for being Sarah Huckabee Sanders and is claiming discrimation even though it was recently ruled that a baker was entitled to refuse a gay couple service

If Mayday had access to Emily (the first Ofglen) then it's not impossible for them to have access to the second Ofglen.

Not at first, when she was vocally in favour of Gilead, but eventually, when she spoke up to save Janine.

If Handmaids have died, and it looks as though many of them have, what will Gilead do now?

They were expecting to be able to "process" more handmaids than ever, so they must have an idea of where these women will come from.

They are going to have to replace the lost handmaids from somewhere. They'll be regretting sending Handmaids off to the colonies right now.

I think Emily was Ofglen and then Ofstephen before they shipped her off to die in the colonies.
