I agree that there were a lot of MN references throughout - too many to be a coincidence??

I enjoyed it. The wedding invite part of the story line left me imagine that they'd take things slowly and the D&R wedding would be the perfect time for them to go public with their relationship and they lived (mostly) happily ever after!

The MN references passed me by - I'll have to watch it again. People who found it boring or slow just aren't watching closely enough. There's so much subtle humour. I can just imagine Peter Kay reading Mumsnet and splitting his sides ....

Some references were in previous episodes as well.

I am so going to have to go back to rewatch for all the things I missed. Sat having a latte and chuckling to self over the car door... when he then stuck his head out and leaned out to look .... priceless
