Anyone else counting the hours 'til Friday? Saga banged up and stitched up for the murder of her evil mama; how will she cope? Come on Henrik, save our girl!

@welltidy, there are no spoilers on this thread. Just lots of speculation Wink

WellTidy · 14/06/2018 15:24

Thanks Agent. That’s my afternoon sorted then, I will enjoy having a read.

HollowTalk · 14/06/2018 19:46

Have a look at The Guardian blog, @WellTidy - there's one per episode and there are strictly no spoilers allowed. I reckon some of the posters here are on there!

WellTidy · 14/06/2018 19:59

I am loving this thread, I am a huge fan of The Bridge so this is heaven to me. Thanks all!

I rewound it at the time to look at the bag the phone came out of... It was a black small leather rucksack with a skull and crossbones charm hanging off it. So teenager or cutsie woman or slightly gothy man..... Apologies for the major stereotypes there! Have been looking out for it, but not spotted it yet in later episodes!

YouStacey · 14/06/2018 20:35

Good spotting Sleeping - could be PA's or could be Toby the mechanic's wife?

YouStacey · 14/06/2018 20:36

Or Astrid?!

sleepingbaby1125 · 14/06/2018 21:46

They would seem most likely yes. Although I think Kevin and creepy commune guy are likely to be the most evil, and they would both be very unlikely to carry that bag. Kevin would have had to have been standing up as well.
I vaguely wondered if I re-watched the first couple of episodes if they'd sneakily shown it on someone before the phone was stolen.... But I'm not quite that obsessed yet :)

YouStacey · 14/06/2018 22:43

Creepy commune guy might have been with Astrid who may have been in her bad persona, and her bad persona helps out CCG to do bad things?
Another thought - perhaps Kevin and his mum stayed in the commune for a while after leaving Tommy?
I'm tempted to watch episode one affair tomorrow.

YouStacey · 14/06/2018 22:43

affair? No idea where that came from

anonymice · 15/06/2018 10:19

I have something else I just thought of. The twin brothers - anyone remember when Patrik turned up at the hospitalfor his clown job and scared William's daughter, then he talked to his co-worker and she was surprised because the entertainers had been told to leave her alone in that morning's briefing - she said 'but you were there'? Well, what if the journalist was impersonating his brother as well, dressing up as the hospital entertainer? We were led to believe it was only one way round, but what if both twins were pretending to be each other? The journalist could have been trying to spy on William? Or his daughter?

TimeIhadaNameChange · 15/06/2018 10:26

Interesting, anonymice. Of course, it also gives Patrik an alibi...Plus, the fact he made a scene means that people would have been more likely to remember he was there. Hmmmm!

HollowTalk · 15/06/2018 12:32

The twins seem to have been forgotten. And we still don't really know which twin actually died.

Can anyone remind me how Hans died?

HollowTalk · 15/06/2018 12:34

And Martin's son - wasn't he bricked up or something? I keep thinking of the song "it goes back to the beginning..." and can't help thinking we should be bearing that in mind, given they are some of the few words that actually make sense in the song!

On another note does anyone else think the cinematography is absolutely fantastic? I've been watching on a friend's TV which is massive and it makes such a difference.

anonymice · 15/06/2018 12:54

that's just it, they are identical twins, so we really don't know which one died.....

ToffeeUp · 15/06/2018 14:03

Exactly, we don't know which twin was target and which was victim. Guess we have to wait to see the link to Tommy.

Hans was found in the fun fair ghost train attraction, tied up with his hand missing. He died in the hospital.

anonymice · 15/06/2018 14:37

oh yes, had forgotten that. I hate ghost trains. God, what am I going to do when it finishes, I am such a saddo :(

HollowTalk · 15/06/2018 14:40

I was wondering (hence asking about the previous deaths) whether there'd been any which were used in executions, but we just hadn't noticed the significance at the time. I'm completely obsessed with this...

YouStacey · 15/06/2018 14:57

What executions are left?
Done - injection, stoning and electrocution.
Remaining - hanging, beheading, shooting and gassing. In the first series didn't the cocky hipster journalist get gassed in his own car? Loads of people shot. And there was a hanging at the end of S3 although was that Emil and it didn't happen? Any beheadings?

anonymice · 15/06/2018 15:03

gassing has happened already.

ToffeeUp · 15/06/2018 15:06

The horse was gassed

HollowTalk · 15/06/2018 15:21

I was thinking specifically of people who've meant something to the main characters, so Hans and Martin. I wondered whether there was any connection to executions right at the beginning that we hadn't noticed, which would mean the four series have actually been one series.

TimeIhadaNameChange · 15/06/2018 15:31

Well the 'ringleader' at the end of series 1 was shot. I said earlier I wondered if they're using this series to finally tie up that loose end. Though it doesn't really fit the pattern as she was killed for failing, rather than to punish someone else.

HollowTalk · 15/06/2018 15:42

Yes, you'd have to look at who suffered as a result of the death for it to fit the pattern.

TimeIhadaNameChange · 15/06/2018 20:09

Do we know for sure that the clown with the camera was the same person who played the earlier clown? We don’t, do we?
