I thought I was seriously weird (I probably am) because I've always preferred Anthony Edwards to either Tom Cruise or George Clooney.

Dr Greene was the sexiest. He was also the nicest doctor on the show. Dr Carter looks about 15 on rewatch, which explains my teenage crush on him. Benton is too mean, and George Clooney is just a creep.

I remember there was a Sex and the City episode where they were talking about who they masturbate to, and George Clooney was apparently a classic that would always be in their fantasies. Really?

ER was def on weds. Weds was always brill for tv at 9pm on c4 I used to refuse to answer the phone when it was on (pre mobile days) Friends was on Fridays (stayed in as students to watch the one where Ross and Rachel kiss)
I think series two is the best overall- Susan and the baby, carol with the fireman, dr greens marital problems, Jeanies diagnosis, carter graduating and I think Romano starts in this series

I’m playing catch up and loving it.

First time round for me I was feeling the Ross and later Romano love.

This time round Ross is winding me up big time with his controlling behaviour with Carol. I agree with ding he’s a creep

I’m absolutely loving Benton this time round. Just watched him telling Rachel he’s sad in his heart after the shooting. He’s also not so mean to Carter as I thought he was the first time round. He made Carter the man we all know and love!

I'd forgotten CCH Pounder was in it in the early days. She's a great actress.

Agree I always thought Benton was harsh too but I guess in that situation you need the best from people (I am sooooo over invested)

Yep watching it first time around in my late teens I LOVED Doug, used to completely swoon over him and thought Benton was nasty - completely the opposite when I rewatched a couple of years ago - love Benton, Romano and Weaver and think Doug is sleazy!

But...both times around I HATED Jen, Mark's wife and Rachel was a brat too!

I'm watching season 6 right now - I love playing spot the celeb; all these random characters that ended up in Gilmore Girls - Dean, Lane, Paris, Rev Skinner.

Benton was a tool tonight though - 'we are not equals' . Carol put him straight though.
