Her curly hair is so much cooler than that bloody awful wig she wore on The Good Wife. But I guess she had to look very conservative and middle class in that role.

Apparently she chose that wig for The Good Wife as she did not want her distinctive hair associating her role with Nurse Hathaway. Producers were happy with her hair au naturel

It's fascinating watching it again knowing the future of the characters.

This was groundbreaking drama. I remember that much was made at the time of how different and edgy it was, the filming style, the live episode (episodes actually as they had to film as live for both eastern and western US zones!)

I do love Grey's too though.

Episodes 1-3 done. It's so fast paced, it's fab. i thought it would look old and dated, but it doesn't at all.

I love the fact you don’t get any exposition about the characters. You are just dumped into their lives where they are and left to get on with it.

I can't watch Mark's death again, just hearing that song makes me well up. And poor Lucy, poor Carter. Your heart wrenches knowing what's to come for some of the characters.

For me, ER is definitely one of the best things ever made - the plots, the cast. No dumbing down schmaltz for the audience (looking at you, Grey's).

Definitely Thursday, its the only day I didnt go down the pub to the gym so I could watch it.
