Well, I got a reply and you're not going to like it Wink

"Unfortunately we have no current plans to show any further seasons of ER after season 6. We apologise to all viewers who were enjoying this series.

Regards,

The CBS Drama team."

Lol FoofFighter having checked the prices, I can confirm I'm far too tight to buy it Wink a quick Google also confirms the only place to stream it is Hulu (not available in the UK). Neither Netflix or Amazon Prime have it. Very disappointing.

I've emailed again to ask if they are at least attempting to get the later seasons as I think "current plans" might just mean they haven't done the deal yet

If anyone else who like to email beg here's the contact form www.cbsdrama.tv/uk/contact.php

On an unrelated note I've just realised that Dr Chen did the voice of Mulan.

I concluded a long time ago that the most interesting relationship in ER was, to me, Carter & Benton, and the final minutes of tomorrow's episode are especially touching. ( I'm out tomorrow evening so I got my DVDs out.)

I always rather liked Mallucci (sp?), as he was such an antidote to the overly- invested & dedicated staff around him. And that final speech to Kerry when she's sacked him - who amongst us hasn't dreamed of saying something like that to our boss?

Jeez, I’ve only got one more- why are they doing this to us. Email pinging it’s way.
Awww, so glad he came back to do that today.
One of the best tv dramas ever made.

Catching up. Carol and Luca would have been a good match.

I liked luca like this, he was lovely. Then he became a womanizing twat and then a sanctimonious twat. Not to mention a violent twat.

Ross was terrible for Carol. Did his best to ruin her career then left.

I agree PlayingForKittens if Carol was on mumsnet we'd be telling her to bin him off.

He buggers off after nearly costing her her career, doesn't visit after the twins arrive, doesn't seem to pay any maintenance (she's busting a gut coming back to work - whilst he's living in a massive house and has a bloody speed boat!) generally treats her like shit and yet she goes back to him.

That’s true he did seem to be living a nice relaxed life.
What about Abby and Luka, what did you think of them together?

I didn't like Abby and Luca. Or Abby and Carter. They both wanted to fix her and got all holier than thou when she persisted in being a human being with flaws. In any case he should probably have been in prison and struck off after beating the mugger to a pulp.

Later series Luca and Carter got on my nerves though I liked them as they have been up to this point on the re runs where they are normal, flawed, trying their best characters. It was refreshing when people like Pratt and Morris were brought in who were far more rounded individuals.

Weaver is wonderful though. Love that woman.

Will anyone please please post me the DVDs of series 7 onwards?? I'll return afterwards and pay postage both ways! They seem to be selling for £££ on eBay and as a first time watcher I simply cannot end here!

It's gone back to the start! Did cbs only have rights to the first few series?
