Yes hamandpease, it’s a wig. Apparently straightening her hair would have taken too long, but she wanted a very straight laced, conservative look for the character.

Some of the wigs she wears are fecking awful! I think it’s the last season where it looks particularly bad. She looks quite ill in general towards the end. I can’t put my finger on why.

I'm a couple of weeks behind, watching when I can from series record and was thinking yesterday that I've never seen Sherry Stringfield/Susan in anything else and wondered what had happened to her and lo and behold today she's popped up in Criminal Minds.

The acror who plays her sister was also in Greys Anatomy I think as a patient who didn't know who she was

I'm confused.......I watched The Healers Kat night. Episode with the fire. And someone says ' Raul is a foreman he knows...' but I thought him and sheep were paramedics?!

I think Raul used to be a paramedic when Hathaway first meets him and Shep on the ride along but then Raul becomes a Fireman (a different paramedic has been riding along with Shep in the ambulance for half a series now)

I first watched them on sky Atlantic. It started the same day I started my maternity leave with my eldest ( 8 years ago ) they played the whole lot then started again from the beginning. They lost the rights half way through and it just stopped. Remember when Carter and abbie were quarantined, I think it was after the smallpox. I've got it on series link again 😊

I’m watching too. Was so happy to find them! I found Carter’s story stayed with me the most. He seemed so nice and had such a sad ending!

Firefighters could have medical training but Raul was working as paramedic so I don’t know why Hathaway calls him a firefighter

There have been references to Shep being a firefighter too which confused me. I guess if they are trained for both they can work as either? They had firefighter type coats on when they went into the fire but 'none of the gear', so I guess they were driving an ambulance at the time? I get the impression there's more crossover in the US compared to here

I googled the fireman/paramedic thing before and it seems that some American fire stations have their own paramedic teams, with dual trained firefighter/paramedics known as firefighter medics.

I think in the USA you can become a certified first responder, so you can be a police officer or firefighter who has paramedic type training. That might be why Rauol seems to have various roles.

The episodes I’m sort of dreading but looking forward to are the stabbing ones, the guy under the train (who ended up in House!), and the tiny premature baby.
