Anyone feel that TV trailers give away too much? I understand it's a balance but having watched the trailer last night for ITV's new three part drama Trauma I feel like it basically gave away the whole plot bar whatever the denouement turns out to be. Has really put me off watching!

Wow how utterly utterly shit that was.

He didn't make a mistake at all!! He was doing his duty of care and what happened was a known complication.

The Daughter left feeling disappointed in her dad then the happy simms family at the end.

FFS!

This is the first time I have been motivated to post, just to say, that was awful!
I actually turned it off Just after Jon Simm threw away the knife in the garden, and said triumphantly "you've lost her".

I thought I cannot bear anymore of this tripe. I cannot remember the last time I did that, it's rare, particularly 10 mins from the end.

How anyone could write a script where, a bereaved father elicits nothing but annoyance from the viewer I do not know.

Even Marcella was better and I know the disdain in which the first series of that is held on this board!

I didn't think it was great but it was watchable, I couldn't believe my eyes though when the wife turned up at the hospital and it was all happy families. Aside from all the other awful shit that Dan did he threatened an innocent girl with a knife! How could you ever come back from that?

I agree totally with the point about trailers, but quite liked this series.
