Starts 4th March in US I'm still looking for UK date. I'm looking forward to watching this especially with the addition of Audra McDonald Smile

I didn't understand the Jay bit.

My internet connection is too poor today to go back and have a look online (I've been trying!) but I thought that the drawings were of Boseman and the few ex clients they had narrowed down as being potential suspects?

NoMorePills · 18/05/2018 15:11

Just caught up
Was v good

Why is anyone saying Jay is bad? Those posters have completely lost me.

pastabest · 18/05/2018 15:24

I didn't understand the Jay bit.

I thought that the drawings were of Boseman and the ex clients that they had narrowed it down to? I've not been able to check though as my internet connection is shite and won't let me load the video on All4.

I don't dare google in case I get spoilers from the US pace.

northender · 18/05/2018 16:44

I'm not saying he is bad, I just found the final scene odd. Yes the other drawings were of clients who may hold a grudge, but why the pencil sketches and why the drawing of Adrian? I don't want him to be bad, but it was odd...

pastabest · 18/05/2018 16:59

yes that is what i thought too - odd.

I didn't get it and wondered if I had missed something earlier in the series (there is something niggling me about it) but don't want to google because I know it will probably bring up spoilers as the US are a few weeks ahead aren't they?

Haha evidence of how poor my internet connection is with duplicate post above. It took me about an hour to post that comment and lost it/ re-wrote it several times in the process!

FloralCup · 18/05/2018 21:25

Why did Jay leave the firm originally? I must have missed that in a previous episode.

TheSecondOfHerName · 20/05/2018 17:00

I thought Adrian indicated that the elevator shooter was white.

Yogafailure · 20/05/2018 19:59

I've found you all! I'm loving this show and have been coincidentally watching Cush Jumbo in old episodes of Vera on YouTube as well 😂

Aridane · 20/05/2018 21:57

Well, just watched the most recent episode. All about Jay. Seemed more, far, fetched than usual.

Next week is season finale.

iheartmichellemallon · 20/05/2018 23:05

Already Ariadne?

Aridane · 21/05/2018 07:40

So. Soon!

newidentiy · 21/05/2018 11:50

I had been saving this watch and started watching last night but I have episode 3 missing. I can't get it on Sky Catch Up.

does anybody know how I can watch it please

Aridane · 23/05/2018 07:50

And Jay whistling the theme tune at the end of the last episode - strange

pastabest · 24/05/2018 22:06

That episode was a bit.... underwhelming?

Aridane · 24/05/2018 22:08

Indeed!

LighthouseSouth · 24/05/2018 22:08

I really enjoyed it but I can relate so much to Diane

I just wish she'd stayed single

I sense we will lose Lucca next season though

dairyfarmerswife · 25/05/2018 08:52

I feel like I've missed an episode. How/what does Kurt know about Tully? And did Maia's girlfriend find out about her snogging the girl in the night club. It sounded like Marissa knew about it but I don't remember her finding out/seeing it.

I liked the tie up that the cop shot Boseman, but presumably he isn't behind the other lawyer killings.

Popchyk · 26/05/2018 10:44

Floral, Jay left in a huff because Boseman wouldn't allow him to use the information (gained via another case) to try to free Jay's friend in prison. Boseman said the firm works for the first client and that information is privileged and would be a conflict of interest for the firm. Jay of course was raging that Boseman wouldn't bend the rules in this case when Boseman has done it plenty of times before.

Lucca and Maya subsequently managed to free Jay's mate by coaching another lawyer to be a front for them.

Italiangreyhound · 31/05/2018 22:01

I thought tonight's show on Jay was great. Very 'classic' Good wife, remember the one with the guy on death row and the 'addendum'? Or the one about the paper clip?

Classic.

pastabest · 01/06/2018 18:52

Right I'm not getting why Jay is whistling the theme tune at the end of episodes.

Are we going to find out that last few episodes are all some kind of dream or 'episode' that Jay has had Dallas stylee?

Why all the Jay heavy storylines?

Other than that though I agree much better episode and much more Good Wifey. I do think it feels a bit directionless though sometimes. The Good Wife always had Alicia as the primary focus (and The Good Fight had Maia last season) but this chops and changes around quite a bit this season. I assume it's because there isn't a huge amount of love for the Maia character from fans so they are trying all the options?

Popchyk · 01/06/2018 18:53

Yes, I liked the last episode. Feels like the show really has hit its stride now. Funny and clever and all of the main cast contributing. That's what I liked about The Good Wife and now The Good Fight. Lots of different characters together rather than most shows which focus on the lead character.

I liked the 'expert witness' who Marissa asked to testify about the genius of Jay's art. Funny.

Popchyk · 01/06/2018 18:57

You can never have too much Jay, pasta.

I have no clue about the Jay whistling thing.

TSSDNCOP · 01/06/2018 19:00

I totally love Marissa.

TheThirdOfHerName · 01/06/2018 22:04

Really enjoyed this episode. I think that Jay drawing in Adrian's hospital room was to provide background for this week. The comic store owner as art critic was great.

I have no explanation for why Jay keeps whistling the theme tune.

northender · 01/06/2018 22:18

Enjoyed this episode, but watched it thinking it was the series finale (and as such, didn't seem like a great finale). Now that we know it's not, I'm really looking forward to next week's

Baffled by the theme tune whistling, but agree that now explains the sketching Jay from a couple of weeks back. Could watch Jay all night!
