Starts 4th March in US I'm still looking for UK date. I'm looking forward to watching this especially with the addition of Audra McDonald

I hate all the Trump stuff, its boring.
Diane is annoying me.
Maia always annoys me.
I don't know, it just didn't hold my interest. I like court cases.

So boring last night.

Marisa and Maia storylines not realistic.

I liked Ruth character in The Good Wife but agree last night's was boring.

It was nice to see Ruth back.

That cartoon and song at the end was toe-curling, though. And I found the whole 'getting a job with the Democrats' story dull.

I don't give a rat's ass about Maia's love life, I'm afraid. Or Marisa's hothead new boyfriend. On which, is anyone else a bit that she's with him despite him actually having the hots for Maia at first? What happened when they told him she was gay? Has he 'settled' for Marisa?

I love Lucca but am not sure I want to see her becoming essentially another Alicia –a politician's 'wife', aiding him with his image.

Presumably Steven (?), Colin's new campaign manager or whatever he is, is the new Eli Gold? And Colin's mum is the new Jackie Florick, Peter's mum?

Steven will presumably be there for the cutting remarks and the raised eyebrows? And Colin's mum will be there to interfere in the relationship between Colin and Lucca.

It does feel a bit like we did all this in The Good Wife so no need to do it again.

And I'm a bit sick of the Trump shoehorning. I get it. The writers don't like Trump. Neither do I. That's why I want to watch a TV programme WITHOUT HIM IN IT.

Maybe one of the lawyers will get a client one of these days.

All of that said, I am enjoying this series.

But WE NEED MORE JAY the investigator.

Haven't seen him in a while.

Part of the reason I liked the good wife is because each episode is a story on it's own , normally around a court case with continuing storylines woven through. That seems to have been lost with the good fight.

I'm sticking with it but am not sure if I'm enjoying it
I don't find the two other partners that interesting (so much so I can't even remember their names.). Is Julius a partner? He's not interesting either.
And I don't like Mia and can only just tolerate Eli's daughter.
I really need to reassess if I should continue watching this!

Julius is a partner, I think.

But his sole role at the moment is to be Token Trump Supporter.

Too much Trump and not enough courtroom.

Is Diane giggling all the time because she’s still taking the mindbending drugs?

I'm really enjoying this - the roles on a TV panel and the whole Trump thing - and the "yes I really DO have a 64 Smith & Wesson in my drawer" - I think it's brilliant.

Also the portrayal of Diane has helped me personally - I'm hoping they don't turn her into a psychotic addict or something but just let her be a regular person who turns to substances to cope.

I liked that she said the thing about Tennessee Williams and the secret to happiness being insensitivity.

That lad Marissa is dating - uh oh.

Anyway I think they're doing well with it. I didn't know Trump Derangement Syndrome was a thing.

The directing and acting is brilliant, right down to the body language.

I reckon it will turn out to be a judge killing the lawyers.

The Jackets are fabulous.
They must have a Person In Charge Of Jackets.

Grassyass, yes, the clothes and the office design are all great.

Diane was just hallucinating two robots having sex, right? That might sound like a stupid question but I was in the office late the other night, looked out the window and saw what looked like a giant inflatable potato in the office opposite. Other colleagues saw it too so unless they've put something the water....!

Which reminds me: did anyone else think Maia's dad's storyline just ended really abruptly? AFAIR, we saw the FBI storming his house and seizing him and then that was it. The conversation between Maia and New Girlfriend is the first we've heard of her dad since.

I also love the Jackets.

Diane with her Power Jackets of Colour and Sequins. They are her armour against the world. This is a woman unafraid of a statement necklace.

Lucca with her quirky style. Loved that sky blue coat she wore to Colin's mum's house in the last episode.

ah, no, even before linking it to the lawyer killing, my feeling was he will be very important somehow, mostly in relation to Marissa.

I suspect the Maia dad story ran out of steam due to viewer feedback - they are filming on that schedule where they can account for it, I think? It was very dull and dragged on far too long.

Kalinda's awful husband was removed from the Good Wife for the same reason. They admitted they made a horrible mistake so ended it abruptly. I still have no idea why they went there in the first place!!

going off topic, Big was meant to be written out of Sex and the City when Aidan and Carrie got back together, but viewer demand changed that plan too.

I loved Kalinda. I would so love it if Kalinda reappeared in the Good Fight - even just as a "visits Diane in the dead of night to say hi" - then we'd have to wonder if it was Kalinda or the shrooms.....

If Marissa does get into a spot of bother with that new boyfriend of hers, then surely there is a role for Jay in sorting him out?
