It’s shockingly bad planning and writing about Tanya’s implausible absence. I read that Jo Joyner shot her scenes over a few Saturday’s in between filming her new TV series so clearly she had little time to give but it wouldn’t have been difficult to give her a few more scenes, surely? I suspect that the writers work remotely all over the country and don’t talk to each other much.

It sounded like Ben was trying to book a feeey ticket but why is he absconding with the money? What's he on the run from? Why just leave all his friends, family and his business?

Ben did tell Jay something about ' taking the money for his dad because he has had a bad year ' so i assume, from this, he is going to give some of the money back to Phil somehow? not sure what he meant or how he will do this? then just go off on the ferry with the rest of it and the 10k he got for the jewellery from the dodgy man in the secret cafe they all go to for dodgy deals or meetings.
I am at loss about most of this, however i have a feeling that Ciara won;t let this go and has recruited Mel 'to sort it out' as she was on the phone to somebody the other day and its weird Mel has turned up now, so ( i think) she knows Mel and has got her on board now to get her cash back. Mel owes Phil money from 15 years ago, so if she is getting a cut of it, it might help her to pay him back or something? who knows.

But I don't understand why he's leaving everything behind? Where's he going and why?

Maybe Luke has been in touch, said he's living in Spain, has apologised to Ben and said he loves him blah, blah, blah and has convinced Ben to move over there to be with him - conveniently with lots of money...

I just can't believe the writers are stupid enough to not bother finishing the storyline.....it's like they want us to forget Luke was ever kidnapped and then WHAM, they're going to throw him straight back in to the show and somehow he'll be central to all this mystery.....

Queen - speculation amd theorising is fine. Just dont talk about stuff that you seen in tv mags/online/in newspapers. Some people dont even watch the adverts, so nothing at all that hasnt been in a episode yet.

YEs we only moan of people say it’s not a spoiler it’s been on front of tv times or twitter.. when some of us actively avoid anything that could spoil the suprise. Only “real life” guess is when someone is obviously real life pregnant and we know there will be a reason why they will eventual have disappear for 6-12months.

Yes it sounded like Ben was booking a ferry not an airfare. Would his bag of money still be scanned at a ferry terminal? They don’t scan cars so perhaps not people either so he won’t have to answer any questions?

Just thinking it is probably harder to trace people too if they go on a ferry. They can hire a car and go anywhere/any airport and there is t really a starting point to look for them whereas maybe the police can track passports via airlines?

Mel had a fling with Phil - she stole a lot of money from him. Sharon is good to be wary. Unlike Ian who seems to have forgotten what shes like.

Also why wasn't auntie G looking after her foster dd. She told Mas to answer the door and why doesn't Mas live in his own house

The whole thing with Daisy and Mas etc is just stupid. Ian should never have done that either. Really awful thing to do to someone when he knew they were looking for her- even if Mas said what he did to wind him up!

Parents evening wasn't terrible. But ds is disabled and has LD so it's a lot of heavy discussion - especially as he's year 9 now and about to take his options!
Luckily despite his difficulties all his teachers seem to adore him!
