Silent Witness ......is it me?

2 hours of silent witness. Followed about 50% of it. Pivotal discussions between lead cast members unintelligible. Couldn't follow it by the end. Is it me?

I enjoyed it, didn't have any trouble following it at all. Its a bit far fetched but aren't most serial dramas?

I dont watch it, but dramas like these i tend to put the subtitles on! worth a go , although it can be a bit distracting, i do prefer it to not following what they are all saying.

Glad it wasn't just me, I couldn't even be arsed to watch the 2nd part. Her fashion choices are suffering too. I usually watch it for her wardrobe alone...

It was all so far fetched...I ended up fast forwarding bits. Some of the acting was weak..all the moping over Jack, Nikki sneaking around pulling out that dead body and checking the eyes, sneaking around following David (was that his name?!) and checking his phone every 5 minutes while he's in the same room...as if!

I must have slept through it!

So 3 teens killed a family?

Did it say that there was also another daughter?

If so, who was she?

I missed who killed Sally-the undertaker?

Nikki's living arrangements annoy me. For years the block they used to show from the outside that she supposedly lived in was next to the Royal Albert Hall, flats there are in the millions. Last series, which was only a few months previously according to the storyline, she was living in a very hip 70's looking house. Now she is in a large, very naice terrace or semi with a massive Aga and mural. Also very expensive in her part of London.

Is she also selling body parts?

I love Silent Witness, but I spent the last 2 episodes just muttering "for God's sake Nikki. Just shag Jack. JUST DO IT!" After the whole Mexico thing how the fuck are they not together? HOW? And relax....

I think a return to mundane cases with a twist, less about broody shots and amateur sleuths.

Used to try and take it seriously but have given up know, I don't know who does her wardrobe but very weird and they all seem to rush around doing any job going; also rather sadly I found the first Vera of the new series disappointing. At least with Father Brown you know where you are!

Twas never the same without Handsome Harry but I keep on watching.
Grumpy pumped up Jack just annoys me.
I had never seem Emilia Fox in anything else until I recently started watching Delicious. She is exactly the same in both roles.

I think she's a weak actress tbh. She was more convincing in that Ant & Dec Crown Jewels caper!
One boxing scene was enough for us to get that Jack is boxing away his feelings. They treat us viewers like we're stupid.

I was a bit worried for Emilia Fox watching this. Has she always been so incredibly thin? I know I shouldn't pass comment on what someone looks like, but it took me aback when she was standing next to other (thin themselves) people.

The acting in this episode has been awful. The detective hasn't done anything and her acting is worse that I've seen in many a school play!!

I'm confused about this week's..... Who killed the first bloke yesterday while his wife watched through the window?

Ah, hang on, the husband of the first woman killed her and then killed him because they'd had an affair - was that just separate to the other bit?

Nikki is getting right on my wick these days. It's not as good as it used to be.

If the blackmail plot thing was personal because the barrister “ruined” the crazy woman’s life why was she also blackmailing the estate agents wife at the beginning?
And how could someone create a whole new identity and get a job as PA to the Chief exec at a hospital?
It’s all very silly with huge plot holes

You'd never get through HR at our place (a hospital) with the smallest gap in your CV!

I watch it but each week get so much rage at the far fetched ness of it. Why are the pathologists doing the detectives job?! Why was Nikki interviewing suspects?! Why was she following suspects?! I'm sure if this was real and it got to court a lot of the evidence would be inadmissible because the pathologist collected it of this own sheer nosiness!

I have this rant each week. But I still always watch it
