It's that Homeland time of year again

It feels so long ago that poor Weaselly Quinn met his maker that I had to Wiki what happened last season. We were left with an easily-led Madame President, an assassination plot, Saul in prison, Quinn dead in a Jeep and Carrie's distraught face working on overtime.

But it's back! Feb 11th US which I reckon means Feb 18th UK (although last year Channel 4 didn't tell us till about a minute before kick-off, despite my pathetic emailing). . Yay!

Great episode. Very tense. I couldn't sit still while watching it. Shows how easily things can spin out of control.
Beardy guy didn't look like a right wing agitator....where did he come from ?
Max.....hmm I can't figure why he is so loyal to Carrie.

Anyone noticed O'Keefe's pot belly?

Which seems to fit in well with his character...

Back on form this week, after stretching credulity a bit far so far this series.

Also the fact he still had blood on his hands the next morning after the shooting. Absolutely gross!

Recorded Homeland his week- very tense, shows how things can escalate very quickly. That O'Keefe had a bit of a smirk on his face when he saw Saul, felt very sorry for Saul, he tried his best. They (the FBI) can't kill O'Keefe now or he will be seen as a martyr.

Are we all prepped and ready? I'm very much looking forward seeing O'Keefe trying to broadcast live to the masses from captivity.

I don’t think we actually know him, but I assumed that he’s a former colleague in the CIA. I think the dishevelled-ness is to indicate that he’s a wild card just like Carrie. Subtle innit.

If by beardy bloke, you mean the one who just had a walk in the woods with Saul, that's Allison's Russian - so he clearly didn't meet a sticky end but instead defected successfully.

Ok so is the FBI man who is looking out for Carrie still in the FBI and if so, how Ian he explaining himself to his colleagues/boss? Surely they would want to know what he was working on? He can’t mention Carrie.

And the other guys, are they black ops? Or private operators? And who is paying them for this job? Carrie? With credit cards?
