It's that Homeland time of year again

It feels so long ago that poor Weaselly Quinn met his maker that I had to Wiki what happened last season. We were left with an easily-led Madame President, an assassination plot, Saul in prison, Quinn dead in a Jeep and Carrie's distraught face working on overtime.

But it's back! Feb 11th US which I reckon means Feb 18th UK (although last year Channel 4 didn't tell us till about a minute before kick-off, despite my pathetic emailing). . Yay!

Oh can you just imagine Brodie and Quinn hiding away somewhere together working on their “vindicate Carrie” plan and they have found Virgil too and he is in contact with Max and all four are going to swoop in with all sorts of proof and shit that elks the world Carrie is a genius and on the right meds should be head of the CIA Grin

Oooh!! See now thats a show I want to see. They could drag that out for ages. Who would she choose? Perhaps Jonas could reappear too and throw another spanner in the works. I think she should choose Quinn. She never fully trusted Brodie. Well none of us did! Grin

I agree that we haven't seen the last of beaten-up hacker man. But Carrie took photos - she has blackmail material. He'll be the chap she uses to take down the Pentagon's tech when Madame President loses her mind and starts declaring war on Sweden. Something like that, anyway.

I have to say I’m finding it a bit ridiculous that the risky stuff in this season is Saul going to have a chat with an on the run vlogger or whatever okeefe is and Carrie getting duped by a spotty teenage boy hacker. Back in the day Saul was interrogating al qaeda terrorists in safe houses and Carrie was Getting trying to get assets to safety in the Middle East.

It's nice that Carrie has a friend. She's sadly lacking in the friends department.
Zilpha - I know, it's not exactly the unbearable tension of Saul's many earlier kidnaps or the Kabul station shoot-out, or the Berlin nerve gas. There were whole episodes of Homeland where I could barely breathe. But it's early days - they'll find a way to ramp it up.

Yes good Carrie had someone on her side. I like that he has some insight into bipolar. He might be the key to keeping her stable as he can spot the signs of her getting ill?

Are you kidding? I thought he was getting kidnapped again. That alone was breath stopping.

You may well be on to something. I'd say she had Max, but he was useless in helping her with the hacker.
