I don't know who the person in the Spanish hospital is but clearly someone important to Gaskell - I think the trials are all part of a plan on his part to 'cure' whoever it is.

Nice to see the new doc (who's name I can't remember) finding her feet a bit with Sacha. Enjoying the Jac/Petrenka dynamic too.

I have no idea what happened at the end but he's creepy as fuck.

I’m not sure if I find him creepy as such but he’s not right in some way. Some kind of superiority/god complex? He seems to think he is a benevolent god, granting people with his attention and expecting them to be grateful if that makes sense.

How long till he starts sleeping with that F1 do we reckon?

Just watched it. The end is really odd. Was it a flashback or did he leg it down to Lisbon?
I find Gaskell creepy too but I think it's because he reminds me of Petyr Baelish from Game of Thrones.

Sure they'll reference him being away for a few days next episode.

When is Rics trial?

Is the person in the Lisbon hospital the one on the video saying that Gaskell had cured him? (Or something like that.) And if it is, does that mean that the treatment failed or something went wrong?

The guy that Gaskill cured showed up in Holby so he’s not in Lisbon. We also saw the Lisbon person, who I’m sure is female, at the start of the episode that Gaskil joined in I think. I think it’s who he’s really doing all the research for or perhaps the trigger for it.
