New year, new thread! Looking forward to tonight's episode ...

If that’s Jaq and Fletch in the video, I sincerely hope they don’t get together. Jaq needs friends and I think her andfletchwork well like that. A relationship would be a disaster.

I just watched the video, someone has waaaaaaaay too much time on their hands!!! I forget Fletch has kids as they are mentioned so rarely for someone who is a single parent!!!

Paddington at one point the kids were in hospital every episode, especially his lad but yeah for a guy with 4? kids you think he'd go home. When he said the babysitter had given him a free pass I was so hoping Jac was going to suggest Albie's not lone internet research

I think Gaskill looks terrified that the treatment will fail. He is obviously working towards a cure for the woman in the hospital bed in Lisbon.

Did nobody at holby care that Henrik has disappeared?

The repeated reciting of Blake's Tyger Tyger was creepy for me because I watched The Mentalist where the serial killer Red John had a fondness for that poem too - doesn't make me feel better about Gaskell!

Great to see Serena back, and some fleeting glimpses of HH. Not too sure what Ollie's dream sequences are for though.

The Jac/Petrenko double act continues to be entertaining :)

Really enjoyed that episode. Nice to have Serena back. And lots of Ollie is never a bad thing! I could stare at those eyes all day...

Forgot how great Serena is. One episode and sheaves figured out why Ric was being shifty. Jac definitely loves Fletch. She was all so jealous of the physio flirting with hot Fletch.

Loved Donna calling Serena 'Bossy Britches' Great to have her back.

Things weren’t quite in the right order this week were they. Donna got paged about Ric while she was talking to Sacha outside the hospital and they dashed off to him to arrive just as they were needed. So the pager must have been able to predict what was going to happen, because in the scene after Donna received the message Ric was chatting to Serena.

It was good to have Serena and Jason back though. I hope Bernie returns as well.

The whole Donna/Ric/Pager thing was really odd. It’s really sloppy editing if they don’t even notice things are out of sync when they complete the episode for viewing.

I love having Serena back and it’s great to see Jason again too.

Great to have Serena back! I can't remember whether we know the stuff that went on between Jason/Lola/Ric at the time of the medical error. Did we see Ric going off to sort things out for Jason?

Didn’t Ric used to be married to a Lola? It’s not a very common name to use for multiple characters.

I really liked the fact that he hadn't told Jason to lie to Serena (which would have troubled him, I'm sure) but not to tell her unless she asked. Lovely Ric.

Finally, Roxana gets to be sad about her dead husband.

Agree, that was needed, although Ollie being thoroughly unpleasant towards her was a bit harsh.

Did have to smile when Jac was trying so hard not to laugh at Fletch dancing....!!
