New year, new thread! Looking forward to tonight's episode ...

The new CEOs office has wall paper that doesn’t look like potato prints but prints of lady bits! Now I’ve noticed I can’t stop noticing. :-/

Have been watching many episodes today as am nearing the end of 5 hours on trains today.

Do still like it but am missing lots of things I used to like about it

Meena still irritates me a bit, and her haste in dealing with Ann was a very poor show, but I do hope that she sticks with her rooting around in the trial info and starts Gaskell's downfall..... Jac did look a bit concerned at the end I thought.

Fletch needs to snap out of his boyish lusting after Tate and admit to himself how he feels about Jac, I'm pretty sure she cares about him rather a lot (and probably more than she wants to admit).

Yes, Meena's still pretty self-absorbed but she's been unwavering in looking into the trial data, so hats off to her. She would have done better talking to Roxanna rather than Duvet about her concerns, though. Let's hope Jac's spidey senses are on full alert!

Gas Kill was quite funny. I thought Meena might speak to Roxanna who was definitely in but she kept going to Gas Kill instead. Poor Jac aka the cactus.

Yay to Berena being reunited.

Did anyone else notice the date on the email that Meena received was 19/6/18 ie next Tuesday 🤔

Perhaps next week will carry on from exactly where this episode left off? I hope Jac clocks it.

Wait the synopsis on Sky said it was part one of two so hopefully it should just pick up from there!!! I hope Jac doesn't just go for the op when she knows something is wrong, that's not the Jac we know and love!!!

Just caught up - it was great to see Bernie back!!

I haven’t really been a fan of Meena in the past but I warmed to her tonight and I hope she takes Gaskell down!

I found Bernie really irritating this week. She's always a kind of Oracle and it was a bit much. Like she always has some kind of secret knowledge nobody else can see.

God yes I used to love Bernie but she was making me cringe this week with the deep breathy voice and serious knowing eyes.

I find Bernie strange, all breathy and ethereal, talks rubbish a lot of the time. She's obviously hurt that Serena didn't go back to join her on the frontline or wherever her trauma centre is but it's all a bit one-sided. Serena has a good job too, plus vulnerable family.

Oh, I just hate this Gaskell storyline. I can't be bothered to follow it closely enough to understand it and there's too much that you have to catch on screen, and I watch and knit so often end up looking down at crucial moments. I think Gaskell is creepy and just want him to piss off. I'm fairly intelligent and the fact that months in I still can't tell you what the point of this mysterious trial is points to a FAIL on the part of the writers. Make it stop!

You mean the point of the trial? But what IS the trial? I don't even care about know that. I think I've got to the point where I switch off mentally every time he appears.
