From some work he was doing? Wow I missed that. So is he limited in what work he can do now? And how do blokes at the pub now?

Yeah, needle prick from an operation, they knew the guy had it. He's on light duties until cleared, I assume pub blokes are work mates and they've told people at work to explain why he's on light duties

Quite enjoyed tonight with its variety of story lines featuring some of the 'lesser' characters.

Is Jac back?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Sacha was definitely growing cultures in the staff room fridge a week or two back, wasn't he? And last night he was outraged when someone suggested that was the case. I hate what they've done to his character - he used to be a pleasant and approachable senior doctor but they've turned him into a buffoon.

No sign of Jac yet, Sleeping. We live in hope.

I didn't like Dom's storyline at all last night. He was incredibly rude & hurtful towards Lofty who's clingy & annoying but still... & then he let his patient dictate what happened instead of taking charge of the situation like a doctor should. If he'd gone to get help instead of faffing about trying to get her phone back he wouldn't have cut himself & she'd have got help sooner so wouldn't have got to the point where his only option was to stick his bleeding hand inside her leg. Ridiculous to suggest that a doctor would've put comforting her over saving her life!

Don't even get me started on the ridiculous fuss over saying 3 words - it's not like he was proposing, or the coincidence of 3 doctors happening to come across 3 different people in need of medical assistance on one night while going about their daily lives.

Was there a writers strike this week? I'm watching on catchup and am so bored. It's ridiculous. Sasha's dancing with a cleaner and Dom's comforting a woman instead of going for help not keen on the Petrencho storyline either.

I liked the Sacha storyline but the Dom thing was ridiculous. As has been said, there’s absolutely no way a doctor wouldn’t go and get help.

I’m finding Lofty really annoying lately.

I like Sacha with a crush, it's cute. He should marry French lady, he deserves love.

Petrenko looked hot in her pants and socks.

Dom would be struck off, surely? Ok try and grab the phone but they were clearly arsing about for hours before he called an ambulance. She at best around lose the leg, if not her life.

Dom should have left her and run for help. At CPR training they tell you to do that if you are alone, then come back.

Yeah, what was she gonna do?

I am just watching on catch-up now and am so irritated by the way Dom is handling this! Any doctor would have gone to get help straight away - it's not as if she could run after him and stop him, given the nature of the injury.

And why does Lofty put up with him? He is so unbelievably self-absorbed.

And now he's fashioning a very long poking device to get the phone. This is just farcical.

Caught up last night, DH and I actually got quite angry with Dom - both with not doing what any normal medical professional would do and leave Leg Lady to get help, and also with the whole Lofty thing. They are both soooooo WET!

Lofty's neediness is really unattractive, and Dom is trapped in a storyline behaviour cycle that the writers won't let him get out of. They have a lovely time, something happens & Dom withdraws, Lofty gets clingy, Dom pushes Lofty away, Lofty persists, Lofty breaks through, all is well & they have a lovely time.... rinse and repeat, every blooming episode.

Who is writing this rubbish - are they deliberately trying to lose views so they can axe the show?!

I haven’t caught up for ages and don’t seem to have the enthusiasm to.

Although SueFlay I know people who have this as their relationship cycle so he's annoying but accurate

It drives me mad how every new CEO gets a totally new office set up. Abigail has a strange mud century thing going on which does not look like an office at all.

I hope the NHS wouldn't do such a thing in real life.

The whole Jac/Gaskell thing has disaster written all over it.

Fletch needs to sort it out - bin CEO woman and be honest with himself and Jac.

Jac and presumably Roz and CEO suddenly all happy to trust scary Gaskell again.
During the surgery all I could think was that when I had an op they said no nail varnish and Frieda was there with her big bold gothy eye shadow on!
It's pants, mostly.

Sluj rest assured this would not happen at the NHS Trust I work at!!! The office I sit in hasn't seen a paintbrush in at least 18 years!!!!

Also Jac's office wouldn't have still been empty, it would have been commandeered by another Consultant before the ink dried on her A/L request!!

I hope Frieda's not gone for good. She's the main reason I'm still watching.
