New year, new thread! Looking forward to tonight's episode ...

Quite liked this evening's episode for the most part. Nice to see HH coming round a bit, liked how Dom dealt with him. Nicky seems to be blossoming nicely too. Gaskell is still a creepy git, wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Not really keen on the Fletch story with CEO woman though :-/

Fletch seems to have a thing for CT surgeons... They are setting up a potential triangle situation when Jac gets back...

Hadn't considered that one..... can you imagine the claws out with those two fighting over Fletch?! Personally I'd still rather it be a straightforward thing with Jac and Fletch ending up together somehow. Still can't take to Abigail - she's too fickle and a wee bit sneaky.

As soon as that happened I said to DH oooooh Jac will be back next week then

I KNEW Fletch and Abigail would have a thing.

I thought they might push him towards the agency nurse woman (can't remember her name).... But an Abigail-Fletch-Jac triangle would take it to the next level.

I can't take Sacha's project seriously - I mean he's a general surgeon, he's never shown an interest in bacteria before, he has no lab just a microscope on his desk, and he's cultivating mould on scotch eggs? (In a couple of weeks he's going to discover the next penicillin etc etc., something that a generation of well-funded and resourced specialist research scientists have yet to do... )

For Sacha to be cultivating eColi in a fridge which was for food use was revolting!

Liked the Roxanna and HH stuff.
Don't like the Fletch and Abigail stuff. Yucky.

Do you think HH and Roxanna will get together? She doesn't seem to be missing her husband a whole lot....

I think HH is going to expose Gaskell by meticulously examining the case details - he's already a bit about the miracles Gaskell's performing. It's going to rip that friendship group apart

Liked how they built up to Fletch and the Nursing Bank manager but it turned out to be ditzy CEO... but actually don't like her at all, leave him alone! Surely she overstepped all kinds of professional boundaries there, she started it!

Just watched this week's ep them realised I hadn't watched the previous one. I don't really care about anyone much in it at the moment so didn't bother watching both. Hope HH gets sorted. Sasha and his research bit of mould in the fridge was just a joke. Fletch and the ceo at the end likewise.

Rather a lot of 'patient imparts deep and meaningful words of advice' featuring this evening..... slightly tedious really.

Serena was getting a bit irritating too, though I did feel sorry for her battling her demons over Elinor.

Meena could do with being less up herself, nice to see Nicky being rather more assertive.

I'm really hoping the writers don't get Jac doing the pick me dance if when she comes back, or get into a silly spat with CEO-woman over him. That's probably what's going to happen, isn't it...

Well, they did at least attempt to give Meena a little character depth last night. Still don't like her but I guess that's the point.
Fletch had a bit of a wobble when he thought he saw Jac. I think he's going to keep the CEO at arm's length now but she'll pursue him and become a bunny-boiler.
